Hi Ladya,

I'm playing catch-up. You have an interesting chart with Libra rising, Venus in Libra (home) conjunct Uranus. This is an aspect of great beauty. Libra is pretty anyway but add Venus and its exquisite. I'd love to see a pic of you. Heres some info for starters

Venus conjunct Uranus

(Betty Lundsted)

When these two planets are conjunct, it indicates some kind of tie between the psychological effect of the mother and the behavior pattern that she manifests during the individual's formative years. It is indicative of some kind of eccentric or erratic behavior on her part. She may have been tremendously creative or self-willed. The Uranus-Venus conjunction indicates that the mother presents herself to the native in some sudden and erratic manner which the native cannot relate to; even so, the native forms a similar behavior pattern because of the mother's behavior. This behavior pattern affects the part of life that has to do with the intellectual concept of love, how one is able to appreciate love, to receive love or to communicate it to others. This tie can bring out unusual talents as well as unusual perceptions of what love is, so it can manifest either in creative energy or in an abrupt attitude regarding affairs of the heart. This individual may make impetuous decisions and cause unnecessary pain to those around him. He will have to learn how to 'play fair' since his early childhood experienve taught that decisions are made before talking things over with the partner.

The aspect indicates that this individual may fall in love impetuously and fall out of love the same way. The concept of love will be unusual, unorthodox, and the lover may seem to be a very different type from the norm. Because the image of woman in the psyche is an unusual one, the loved one may be an unusual Uranian type who may not seem suited to this individual's outer personality. This conjunction may signify a lack of communiction, for all decisions regarding love may be made in an abrupt manner and without consulting anyone else. When a relationship problem needs to be solved, a person with this aspect thinks it through, majes a decision, and when any discussion of the problem takes place it is merely a social courtesy, for as far as he is concerned the decision is done. Relationships are ended with no warning, and the partner may be left in a state of shock.

Men with this aspect may leave a woman, with little idea or no feeling about the emotional trauma caused to her. Women with this aspect may be an enigma to the men with whom they are in contact. The aspect is harder on the female than the male because she may reject her biological role. The mother may have resented the responsibilities of motherhood when this person was young, and the memory in the subconscious mind recalls some plaguing fear about childbirth, or distaste for the responsibilities of child raising to such a degree that this woman may avoid ever getting pregnant. The biological role can be reconsidered when the aspect is analyzed from a conscious point. She is not required to be like her mother or to have the attitudes of her mothers. The damaged image in the psyche can be healed through good couselling or therapy.

Mercury conjunct Pluto

(Betty Lundsted)

If Pluto can be called the symbol of the collective unconscious in the chart - Jung's definition of the intuitive history of the species since time began; that part of ourselves which transmits knowledge over generations; that part of ourselves which combines instincts with conscious development - then this aspect can understandably be a powerful one.

In everyday activities, the person with this aspects doesn't always know what he is talking about, for the words come out before he knows what he is saying. If he uses this energy constructively, he has the beginnings of a great writer, a great social commentator. The childhood experience with the family may be an overwhelming one in terms of communication; words are controlled, or words are used to control others. the power parent is the most controlling influence, unless the aspects indicate otherwise.

For example, when a child is born into a mother-dominated household and Mercury conjuncts Pluto, it can indicate that the father attempts to stay in control, but from a passive controlling point. Passive control can be called the tyranny of the weak, and, if this is the case, the conjunction will have strong or hard aspects to the Sun or Saturn. If so, the child will attempt to control from a passive point as well. The child with this conjunction is controlled and manipulated by his parents, and his investigation of new ideas may be suppressed. When the child becomes an adult, this energy will place limits on relationships because his conversation may not be spontaneous. Manipulation via words can be used in career, copy editors often have this aspect.

Interesting to note, you have an astrologers chart but with a twist. Uranus close to the Ascendant shows your interest, Pluto/Mercury in the 12th shows an understanding of 12th house matters (occult) and Pluto gives profetic dreams.

Hello Lalalinda-

Re: Venus/libra/uranus... aw shucks.

That is nice to hear but exquisite. ummmm no, but my bf says i look like a mix between Vaneesa marcil (actress) and Catherine Zeta. would like to point out now that he is clearly delusional and suffering from some neptunian vision but hey who am i to let him know otherwise. teehee but anyway i did post a few pics. here : http://groups.msn.com/LindalandPhotoShop/ladya.msnw

please lmk when you see them that way i can take them off after- not too comfy having them on anywhere.

Well as you know the interpretation was dead on. I definietly know that the venus conj. uranus issues but have actively been working on them.

i was wondering what denotes an astrolger's chart- recently all my friends have been encouraging me to do this and admittedly -- though i have sooo much to learn still -- i really would love to do it as a career.

PS the last line in the pluto conj. mercury - i am currently a copy editor- though going to school to be an anthropolgist.

thanks for all your time and generosity. Light and love to you!

Very beautiful, When Uranus aspects the Asc. It gives a great personality, magnetic, it draws people to you. Your beauty comes from your Libra Asc. and Venus the whole package.

we're working on Mercury right now. I liked what you said about 12th house Mercury and speech inpediments, I've seen that also, especially with a hard Saturn aspect.

You have a Mercury/Pluto conjunction (boy, I wish I had that aspect)

(Haydn Paul)

You should have a powerful, penetrating and incisive mind, which is attracted towards delving deeply behind appearances. Whether these are social facades or intellectual theories or philosophies, your innate curiosity will enable you to look beneath the surface. As you tend to see your mind as a resource which you can utilise, you often collect many fragments of information on your searches, which you attempt to collate together into a workable source.

You feel 'at home' in your mind, enjoying applying it to a multitude of challenges and problems, confident in your ability to resolve them or make some kind of sense out of them. Following your natural investigative ability, you have an inner process occurring whereby you attempt to extract meaning from your studies and experience, hidden meanings that are mostly relevant only to yourself, although some may be of value to a wider audience too. There is a purist streak in your mind which prompts you to take quite an impersonal attitude to people and events, especially attaching a high value to 'truth' over the social games that people play; your directness is likely to stimulate reactions from others.

As usual with the Pluto energy, there will be an unknowable depth and dimension to your mind, with a tendency towards powerfully expressed extremism and assertiveness as your proceed to manifest your objectives. Your ability to concentrate your willpower and sustain it for as long as necessary will aid you in achieving your dreams. Your beliefs and opinions will tend to be fixed; and you will be difficult to shake from any position that you have decided to take, preferring a vigorous expression of your standpoint against any opponents. As you hate to be seen to have a weaker or fallacious argument, you tend to be well-prepared and confident upon any theme that you may be challenged upon; otherwise you have already prepared some way to evade a confrontation if you feel that you could be defeated. There may be a tendency to hold a grudge against any who have opposed you, or who stand in your way; and you will remember them, waiting for a suitable time to settle the scores.

Unnecessary social problems and suffering for people will draw out a sense of aggrieved anger in you, as will social and political hyprocrisy. You will tend to respond to these feelings by becoming more involved in reorientating your energies into channels which directly oppose those who appear to be creating or amplifying such problems. You feel that you can contribute towards changing things for the better; and this can lead you towards involvement with radical politics. The nature of your political views will depend on your personal analysis of causes; but in extreme cases may tend towards anarchism. Any tactics of subversion will appeal to the Pluto energy, as will the emphasis upon change and transformation. If the social emphasis of Pluto dominates, then much of your life will be directed by the theme of transformation, social and political.

You will tend to be demanding in your personal relationships, expecting a high quality and strength from any partner. But even though you may attempt to force him or her to submit to you psychologically, it will be much better for you if you fail, for a good relationship needs equality and mutual respect. You often tend to use your persuasive power to influence others to agree with you; but you have to learn more tolerance and a broader understanding of the freedom and rights of others to hold their own views. Ideally your long-term partner should be similar to you in outlook, motivation and interests, beacuse you may tend to turn the relationship into a form of intellectual power struggle, which would probably turn it sour before long if you did not have these in common. The obsessive tone of Pluto may cause some difficulties, both in your mental preoccupations, and in your relationship, especially if you are unaware of this aspect to yourself, which can easily turn you towards being excessively self-centred if unmoderated. The positive side of a relationship is that it can break down such tendencies, and open up the awareness of 'the other'; ceratinly you should learn to appreciate any relationship as bringing a more expansive quality into your life.

hello Lovely lalalinda-

I love that you put so much love and generoisty into this for all of us. Thank you!

Merc. Conjunct pluto...uumm well for starters i really like the authors name (Hadyn) i was just talking to boyfriend a few weeks ago about that name and i don't know here i got it from and then voila there it is.)

"...Unnecessary social problems and suffering for people will draw out a sense of aggrieved anger in you, as will social and political hyprocrisy. You will tend to respond to these feelings by becoming more involved in reorientating your energies into channels which directly oppose those who appear to be creating or amplifying such problems. You feel that you can contribute towards changing things for the better...

My biggest dream is to take off to Africa and do humanitarian aid.

And this sooo true "You will tend to be demanding in your personal relationships..."

bad me bad me. I was going thru the other charts and aspects you are doing for everyone, cause i am nosey and well the only way to learn is to read, read, read... and i saw that Noreenz has the same aspect and i had to admit that this is REALLY dead on for moi: ... A sharp tongue is dreaded: they never shrink from confrontations or their consequences. Because of great powers of penetration (Pluto), they often put their finger on an opponent's weak point.... so much for much peace lovin' chart ruler (libra)

ALso i sometimes know peoples so well that i will do something that evokes a response that i want from them. I know that is not nice and when it happens i am not aware until later when i am thinking about the day and then i realize that "hey, that was not nice." Yikes- working on it

This is an outstanding combination for research work, especially in unexplored fields or in fields which have long been taboo. (fits right in with my Anthropolgy/ primatolgy studies- currently working on a new theory for encephalization of human primates).

Thanks for all you hard work! looking forward to more learning.
