http://astrology-numerology.com/elements.html I calculated my points using this system. In it I have 9 points in fire. 3 in earth and 3 in air. Even though my ascendant is in water (they said to disregard generational Pluto) - am I water void? What would this say about me, if so? IP: Logged |

Hi There A water void is no planets in water. You don't count Chiron or the ASC, DSC etc. Do you have this?------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I have Pluto in scorpio but that is the only one. I read to just count the first 7 planets and not the outer ones - is this correct? Sun - Leo Moon - Taurus Mercury - Leo Venus - Gemini Mars - Aries Jupiter - Gemini Saturn - Sagittarius Uranus - Sagittarius Neptune - Capricorn Pluto - Scorpio IP: Logged |

You are low in water and very close to a water void, I would say. How do you feel it?------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ahh, thanks Ami. It's interesting because my best friend has only a water Pluto as well. I read a description of a water deficiency.. emotionally detached etc and that seemed to be her. I read another description about over compensating for the the void/deficiency and that seems to be me. I think I can be pretty sensitive in close relationships and can be more affectionate with close ones than most. I can be detached in most things/with acquaintances but am very sympathetic, empathetic and readily available for the people I am close with. I can also be empathetic with just about everyone. I am not sure how much this has to do with water but I can be very detached and at a distance until I feel like a stranger genuinely needs me and then I try to reach out and help in everyday circumstances. I did once have a Scorpio tell me I am very composed. I can be sooo mushy when I drink alcohol with my friends. I suppose I don't readily express emotions in everyday life as often as I said above. It's hard for me to show thanks or appreciation sometimes because I do not want anything to think that I am fake. I seriously have a problem with fakeness. My mom and dad both only have one water planet as well. So i reason low water has always seemed normal to me. IP: Logged |

That's interesting, Sand. thank you "One thing that seems to stand out about people with Pluto singletons in the natal chart is that they tend to be catalysts. They can touch your life and even if you make no impression on them, they change you or you are changed by contact with them or their ideas." I can see this being true. I seem to affect peoples' lives I get to know for sure. I have been called a "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" which has negative undertones but my friend meant it in the nice way. Not the way the feminist video represents. Just the way that I change people's lives http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manic_Pixie_Dream_Girl#_ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqJUxqkcnKA&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Thank you for your detailed description. That is how I learn.
That makes sense that emotions would be rather removed from you. You would have to mine deeply for them. Then, when you do, do you feel they may overwhelm you?

I am working with another Water Void on my website but he is a true water void unlike you who has an outer water planet. He is really struggling with feeling and knowing his own emotions------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

i'm an air void. But I don't think I have problems detaching. I think this has to do with my Scorpio influence. Scorpio is very emotional but also very intuitive and natural investigators. It's always been very easy for me to see where people are coming from. Then again, I do get very, very emotionally invested in everything I do. i wish it were easier to do things half-heartedly, or with not so much riding on it.IP: Logged |

I think I'm a fire void. I take forever to make up my mind and act on non-security related issues but when I do I move like lightning. It's either one or the other in major ways so I am learning balance. IP: Logged |

@Gracelives, you have Saturn in Aries, you are not Fire void, in fact it is your Fire singleton. Singletons are quite important!IP: Logged |

I also have Pluto in Scorpio as my only water planet, but I have a water ascendant as well (Cancer). I can totally relate to the way you describe not readily expressing emotions in everday life and appearing composed to most people. I also have a problem with fakeness lol and don't want to manipulate people with emotions or come off as inscincere. I can seem detatched and try to look at things from an objective prospective in many situations, but on the other hand can also be very empathetic with people I don't know well and I can be overly emotional with people I'm closely involved with... It's a weird contrast and I'm still trying to find a good balanced between being detached and over componsating... IP: Logged |
