Moon square Ascendant Mars square Ascendant Saturn square AscendantIs there anything good about these aspects at all? What should I do about them? I'm lacking so much confidence and social skills.. Is it possible to turn those squares into a strength instead of a weakness? If needed: http://i47.tinypic.com/24fk7t4.png Thank you for your time IP: Logged |

Well, squares to the ASC make it hard to show the nature of the planet(s) in every day life. You can feel that the squared planets cannot be incorporated into who you are. You struggle and may feel separated from yourself in the areas of these planets i.e the moon/emotions and mars/drive etc ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. That is something that I have wondered myself, having an afflicted Asc as well. (I have Mercury, Mars, Saturn and Pluto sq Asc)An afflicted Asc can indeed bring you social problems, especially in 1 on 1 relationships (because what squares your Asc also squares your DC) and especially Saturn can make you shy and withdrawn. Moon can make you very sensitive especially being your chart ruler - it is like there is this inner conflict in you between your Asc which is pure emotion and your Moon which is in a more detached air sign (Libra). Mars can make you more impulsive and a bit abrasive. This is especially how people see you - the Asc is the face we show others and the aspects to it influence that. Squares mean tension, but it is not impossible to solve. You have otherwise very nice aspects to your chart and only one hard one (Venus opp Uranus), you can tap into the easier aspects to deal with the squares to your Asc, to give you confidence and strength (especially since all the planets squaring your Asc are very well aspected otherwise). I have mars square ascendant. It's hard to fight it when certain situations trigger that part of my chart. I'm guessing you can be argumentative when someone provokes you? You know what they say that the birth chart is a permanent transit. I'm an adult already and i still can't help but manifest my negative chart aspects.IP: Logged |

Practice being assertive, baby steps, until it feels more comfortable. You may want to check out some books from library on topic. Challenging yourself to see how you contribute to your life, from a new frame of mind, is one way to deal with squares. You have to shift your pov to incorporate how your actions affect others, you get this from their response to you, and the feeling you get after these incidents (which is prob negative). You know the tired phrase of 'stupidity is doing the same thing and expecting different results' - that is the essence of the square. It has a lot of energy, but too much might be stuck inside keeping you on the hamster wheel of past conditioning. So blow off the extra energy somewhere else and keep what works. You might be able to use the energy for good, but in a diff area of your life, or for a diff purpose. Example, I have Moon sq Pluto, I stumbled on the fact that it's good for me when I need to be assertive, which is something you'd usually attribute to Mars. But it works, so there ya go, that's when I bring it out of the bag, not too much cos I don't want to scare people, but there it is. Think outside the box here. IP: Logged |

Great answer! I think it helps to accept our flaws i,e our hard parts. Just accepting them helps imo There are wonderful things in everyone's chart. What do you like about yours? xx

Sag ASC - Virgo Moon square ASC; Pisces Saturn square ASCI have Sun sextile ASC though, which seems to remedy these two hard aspects when I will it to. The sextile is not automatic like the trine but when I try my best, or when I am just in a good mood, I am extremely popular and likable. But then comes the insecure and cold, tight-lippedness of H3 Saturn; or the moodiness and the harsh emotional and dramatic responses from the H9 Moon conjunct Chiron. In childhood I was extremely shy and couldn't make eye contact. It seems my depressive/heavy thinking has limited me a lot in life. A lot of my insecurities I've been told and finally have seen, are completely made up. The Moon-ASC square is tough because it can make me very self-doubting, too into my appearance and my flaws, and very up and down in my moods... it can surprise people... So I tend to keep this part of myself, the insecure part that needs 'too much love', out of fear of being rejected (Chiron conjunction). IP: Logged | |
