I have aries sun and mercury in the 8th house and have recently come to the realization that i am actually quite secretive about myself! I find it very hard to muster up all of myself and share my intensity and vulnerable depths. this scares me! no one should go through life not sharing themselves with their loved ones and the world while hiding their true whateverness! does anyone else feel this with any planets in 8th house?
I love the occult and letting deep thoughts stir in my head and marinate until I find something even deeper to connect it to and so on and so on... 8th house buddies feel the same?? personal stories?IP: Logged |

8th house sun nn conjunction and venus i am VERY secretive about myself up to a level that my family doesent really know anything about me... but i prefer it that way you should only reveal yourself to people you trust as people are capable of betraying you and using your secrets ro hurt you dont worry if you wont find anyone right away...this site has wonderfull people and is a good place to share...also there are loads of 8th house influenced people here who understand how you feel  IP: Logged |

I agree. My 8th house has sun, mercury, true node, mars. I am extremely secretive. Unfortunately the more I try to pull back people try to pry into my life. I was on facebook, myspace and other social media. Eventually I had to shut it down. I was going through some heavy time and people wanted to know how, when,who where, what of everything. I tried explaining bits here and there and then I felt as if it was just a waste of time. I didn't ask them about every second of their day. Why then did they expect that from me? A couple people said that it was because they cared. I think giving someone room to breathe and figure things out shows care too. I'm also a perfectionist so I hate going out without all my eggs in a basket. That does put me at a disadvantage because life is so messy and never perfect. Anyway, I've been avoiding parties and social scenes for a while and hated rejecting people so I ended up going MIA. It's hard on me because I was a very bubbly personality that loved to be around people. But when **** hits the fan a bubbly personality takes it harder I suppose. Only thing I have in my 8th house is Pluto and I swear I have not wanted to be Social for a long time. I have been avoiding social outings like the plague for about a year and a half. I just cant be bothered it seems with people and superficial bs and thats what going to clubs and bars seems like to me. Ive always been super secretive too. IP: Logged |

wowowowow.i cant realte 100% with this.i have venus/pluto in the 8th in scorp. but i also have pluto squaring my moon. which i believe adds to me extremely obsessed with keeping all parts of me private. i actually enjoy being this way. i can sleep better at night knowing i dont have to worry about my secrets or personal life being exposed lol. the only person i feel would ever let to TRULY see me, is the man i will want to have as my partner.and i am in no rush for that. soo all is sweet lol IP: Logged |

this is EXACTLY what happened to me about 2 yrs ago. i was the social butterfly type and all that, suddenly i was OVER it. ALL of it. i now despise the club scene. i hate going out (unless its for something important, or to interesting places).i started staying home all the time (which i began to LOVE). now , i cant wait to get home and read a book, or surf the web researching any of my many curiosities. and then in came the "worried" calls. where are you? whats wrong? come out this weekend, bla bla bla. so what i did was close ALL my social accounts. disconnected my phone(i still dont own one, and DONT want one), i have cut off nearly everyone i knew.and now little by little i've met some cool and interesting ppl here and there. i feel the world would be a better place if more people took at least a year of their life, and just isolated themselves from everyone and everything. focusing on themselves, and finding out who they really are. however, all of this did happen when pluto squared my sun/mars/merc libra stellium. and saturn was also conjuncting my libra stellium as well. my personality did a complete 180.its like i Shed my old skin and i could not be happier. and those old "friends" i left behind, are still stuck doing the same sh*t, or have gotten worst.thank god for pluto and saturn right? I can't say, I'm better off than all of them. I guess maybe it helped me realize how to be on my own. I have changed a lot too. I kinda do wantto start fb, but at the same time it's hard for me to juggle social obligations. I always feel bad when I postpone, delay, or simply have to refuse. I feel even worse if the other person gets hurt or upset. I think when my career starts running smoother I might attempt facebook again but I definintely won't rush in like the last time. lol IP: Logged | |
