in my opinion people with virgo as the 12th house cusp have to deal with their ability to give and recive criticism as they migh tbe too sensitive to it or might not critisize others to be accommodating

they also need to learn how to be more discerning with others.....not always accepting problematic people freely

the ruler of the 12th house will point to how can a person develop spiritually and connect to higher forces according to common interpretation

mercury is not "weakened" or changed if it rules the 12th house if that was what you were asking
