Hi all, I'm relatively new but have lurked for a couple of years. I'm autistic and have had an interest in astrology for a number of years.I am trying to understand and deal with my Mars placements and aspects. I have struggled with assertiveness over the years and am now starting to get a grip but don't know how to do it in a more diplomatic manner. I have Mars in the 1st house in Aries. However, I am a Pisces Rising and Aries is intercepted - Mars also happens to be retrograde in my chart. The additional afflictions are that it is square my chart ruler Neptune (10th house), and square Venus (5th house/Cancer). Contrast that to my Scorpio Pluto, which has trines to my ascendant, Venus and is in the 8th house. Pretty powerful. The two planets Mars and Pluto are in aspect to each other - the quincunx. So I have tried to study and understand that energy and am looking for ways to channel it appropriately. Does anyone have any experience trying to deal with a Retrograde or afflicted Mars? Your chart isn't showing. You're meaning to say that you have an Aries Mars quincunx Pluto, retrograde in your 1st house? Do I understand correctly?

Hey guys - bumping an old one, hope that's OK.Finally sorted out a proper viewing of my chart here:
