How do I post pictures. A link would work. Or a quick summary. Got a laptop now!

If it's an internet image, right click on it and and select 'copy image location' In your post paste that url between these brackets with no spaces: [img] [/img] If it's your personal image that's not yet on any server, you can upload it to a hosting site like imageshack or tinypic With imageshack you have to register, but you also have the option of deleting a picture in the future since when you take it off your imageshack account the link to it on the msg board post goes missing Also when using copy image location, the image isn't always guaranteed to be at that address, so if the site owner takes it off the page or moves it elsewhere then it's gone as well. That doesn't happen often, but it will sometimes. So the most secure option is an account based hosting site. But with that hosting site for example imageshack you have to log in which takes more time. There are other image hosting sites.IP: Logged |
