Can a Venus opposite Uranus aspect in the natal chart make one a bit "Aquarian" in love/relationships? A bit detached at times?

To a degree, it helps if we can find out the signs and houses they sit in. Also, the effect of the rising sign can have impact, especially in meeting someone for the first time. Any other planets or important points that may form angles to these two planets will shed further light on understanding the individual.
This is what makes Astrology so unique!
If you could provide further information, we would be more than happy to help..

@AlwaysHope
I have Venus in Cancer in 9th house opposite Uranus in Capricorn in 3rd house.
I don't know much about the aquarian characteristics, but the problem with me is, that I can have these intense feelings for someone, but when they come too close, I distance myself a bit. After a short time I get the intense feelings again of wanting to be with them etc and when that person shows a lot of love, I distance myself again. Arghh I hate this.

I wonder if this is somewhat aquarian, because Uranus is the ruling planet of Aquarius..

@SaturnineMoth
Ohh.. so maybe your Venus-Uranus aspect makes you attract people with Aquarius placements?

That's a typical thing of Venus/Uranus hard aspects, the distancing/detachment.

My bf has the opposition and he's detached in love, definitely not very affectionate and needs his space/freedom. He doesn't like it when I am possessive or too lovey-dovey.

It's kinda frustrating cause I like physical displays of affection and he doesn't. But eh, we're all different, aren't we.

Oh and also, Venus/Uranus can make people go hot & cold. Like one day they're all into you and the next moment it's almost like you annoy them. I dunno what's up with that but whatever.

Pretty sure they're weird like that because they fear enmeshment. They prolly think that too much closeness will make it hard to feel like an independent person. It seems that they fear being trapped cause they want to be able to act freely at all times. It's quite logical actually. But still annoying. haha
