Topic: What exactly does Mars represent and what affect does it have upon Venus?

So as some of you know - or can go and see - I was asking about my Venus position, and I noticed while researching that people often mention their Mars placement in conjunction/relation to their Venus. So my question is, what does Mars represent, and how does it relate to Venus?IP: Logged |

Venus is how you love a person.
Mars is how you ACT towards it.I think I worded it wrongly but just remember Mars is all about action/approach. Plus sex by the way.
For example:
I have Capricorn both in Venus and Mars.
I'm very shy when it comes to the person I like. And because of it I won't make a move. First sentence = Venus

It's because Venus and Mars are the planets most in tune with the immediate day to day matters of relationships and love life. Very important for people. If they two are in harmonious aspect, it means the love life will be robust and pleasant. If in bad aspect, it can mean its rougher and not as smooth sailing. So, people like to be reassured Venus and Mars are friendly toward each other in their charts. A lot of times, they aren't. IP: Logged |

Oh, OK. I'm beginning to understand some. But if Venus represents love and what we're attracted to, etc. What does Mars mean? Is like communications - or something like that?

Mars is masculine "male" principle while Venus is female. Think of Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus. Mars represents the action and sex drive while Venus is more passive and laid back. When they are in harmonious aspect, there's a balance of feminine/masculine qualities in the native. If they are not in aspect or in hard aspect especially, such a balance does not exist and it might be more challenging to meet eye to eye with the people one comes in contact with, including partner prospects. It's a good combination of charm and aggression when in harmonious aspect and if the aspect is conjunction, it is supposed to mean a person who really loves the good life and has a lot of enthusiasm and charm. They attract good things in life due to their own efforts and if Jupiter lends a hand, can mean a very successful path in life.

so how does a venus in Gemini mars in cancer woman act in relationships?better yet how does a venus in scorpio mars in pisces man love?

Not sure about the Venus in Scorp but I have dated a guy with Mars in Pisces and his Sun was Scorp and he was a total sweetheart!!!! He needed LOTS of space and somedays he was all about me and other days he wanted to just be alone but was easy for me to give him his space cause he was was just soooo sweet  and a good lover too  I wish I would've held on to him ....left him for a Virgo who I thought was more stable....
