Hello everyone, I've been trying to do my own chart, slowly and painstakingly as the case may be lol. I have Neptune at end of house 12 , is it always interpreted as House 1 in a reading? Thanks in advance.IP: Logged |

If your Neptune is within 4-5 degrees of your Ascendant, then it would be interpreted in the 1st house. Having said that, I find that studying the interpretations for both houses makes sense in this case since you might find that both houses apply to you.IP: Logged |

Was Neptune retro, stationary or direct? I found that it does influence things when it's at the end of a house. IP: Logged |

I say Neptune within 10 degrees of the ASC would be conjunct the ASC,but people differ on this ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Well if it was direct you might feel it more towards the Asc. Say if it were retro, it would be like he's reluctant to go into the 1st house (from Neptune's perspective, though it's irrelevant coz houses move much much faster, but I like to take planets' opinions into consideration ) and you would have felt it more in the 12th. However, I also believe planets fall in their respective houses for a reason. IP: Logged |

Look at the way your life has progressed for clues on how to read Neptune. House 12 tends to make you more of a recluse so if you love being social and with people all the time, can't live without them, then throw Neptune down in house 1. If you like being alone or have any of the 12th house Neptune issues like too much fantasy and escapism, read him in house 12.

Do you feel you struggle with your identity? Like you struggle to feel a solid sense of identity? Karka has Nep conj the ASC, too. DL may, but he is not sure of his ASC. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Thanks for the replies guys. I wouldn't say that I have an issue with my identity although people sometimes describe me as enigmatic. And although I do enjoy socialising and love being with people , I need a lot of time on my own to do my own thing. I have to add also; when I was younger I was plagued with feelings of insecurity and isolation. But that seemed to pass in my early 20s. I've also had considerable experience with psychic phenomena and the spirit realm, experiencing dream premonitions quite often; and encountering spirits/ghosts since early childhood. So perhaps I'm more 12th House that Ist.Thanks again for your thoughts and opinions, much appreciated. IP: Logged |

That's a 12th house theme...self undoing. If you are plagued by feelings of isolation, that could be Neptune at work. Anytime you feel like you are being undone by something it's a 12th house issue. It's good you don't feel that way now. If you did, I would suggest working especially hard with great effort to find people to connect with. IP: Logged |
