Just a quick question, but is the Moon sign one of the most significant placements in someone's chart? I've heard this from a few other astrologers and astrological sites, that the Moon placement is the most important in gathering what someone is most like. More important than the Sun sign.

Well, going off of my personal experience, I agree. I am a Taurus , but before I really understood astrology, or my chart, I always wondered why I was SO SENSITIVE & empathetic. Like to the point of being an emotional sponge...

Supposedly, taureans don't really show emotion?! Not this taurus, lol. So then I saw my moon was in Pisces...AHHH...that explains it. Sounds more like me...so yeah, I also think the rising sun is equally important to our true character.

It's "uncommon " for a Capricorn to be emotional but I'm an emotional wreck probably because of my Scorpio Moon. I did read somewhere that water moons can be prominent enough to be stronger than your Sun sign

Hmmm, thank-you for this. I've been thinking, perhaps a persons Moon sign could come out over time as well. I am a Capricorn sun, and as a child I was very much a Capricorn, all of the traits were quite inherent. However, as time wore on and I started to build my personal development and self awareness, I see that my Aries Moon makes itself known. When I first found out I had an Aries moon, similar to you, it explained why I had some traits that didn't quite fit.

I'm not even going to pretend I'm adept at astrology, I'm just a curious beginner. But I think whether it's time or that persons doing - based off of my own experience - someone's Moon might come out at certain points in their life. Perhaps as they grow a bit more comfortable around others.

I feel as I grow older (20 years old now), my Aries Moon has overridden some of the more somber, morose, traits of my Cap Sun. And then of course my Cap Sun affects my Aries Moon in some ways that I'm not quite sure. Again, I'm just guessing. I'm still becoming acquainted.

Hmm, I don't have a water sign moon. I'm not sure if I'm particularly emotional. I don't think so. I don't have emotions that sway at the drop of a dime. I can pretty much the same type of mood( depending on something that might warrant or stir an emotional response, obviously.

I find with myself, if I don't push myself to be in a particular mindset or emotion I'll stay where I'm at. Which is mostly calm, but inside my mind.

To be honest, I somehow feel that my all my positions are merged together in a complex but effective pattern.

I appear warm, enthuisiastic and boisterouswith a hint of naivety and non-challance(Aries rising with Neptune/Jupiter trine aspecting)).

My ambitions are very much "above board", "ethically concerned" and good willed(Sagittarius Sun with asistance from both Neptune and Jupiter conjunctions).

I enjoy being home and tending to my domestic environment(Moon in Cancer) as well as being open about my feelings in relation to others(Venu in Scorpio).

I don't like aggressive people(Mars sqaure Moon,Saturn trine Moon)), people who trivialize other people's feelings(Moon opposite mercury) nor do I care for people who lack social decorum,(Venus conjunct Saturn , Saturn sextile Mercury).

When interacting with my external world, I try to be as blanced in my outlook as possible(Mars in Libra), but I do assert myself(Mars sextile Jupiter); especially when I feel that I have a point to make.

I have strong utopian ideas(Jupiter conjunct Neptune) and also believe that religious doctrine deserves a major overhaul(Uranus in Sagittarius).

I am scared of letting go sexually(Saturn in Scorpio) but have obsessions with regards to sexuality(Pluto in Scorpio).

I don't belive one planet is "more efefctive" then anotehr, they all have some roles to play; interaction, aspects, transits etc.

OH wow! That was great. Maybe I can fit everything together soon enough. Thanks for sharing.

I believe in the "all the planets working together as one" thing, but I will share with you what I've noticed about my chart (see below). I'm a Virgo (sun & rising), but there were many times where I didn't feel I was acting (or maybe reacting?) very "earthy". While I really do identify with Virgo, some things just didn't....fit. Rest assured, all of my questions were answered when I realized that I have an Aries moon! Then, things really came full circle once I found out I have a Venus in Scorpio & a Pisces DSC.

OK, I see. Yeah, as soon as I learned we had astrological charts I knew they were interconnected, and working in conjunction with each other.

I have a Cancer sun with Cap moon and that feels like me, but the opposite! My cap moon tempers a LOT of my emotions.
