I just had a reading and the astrologer said that she would encourage me to play in the 9th house...I have Mars in Libra, Uranus in Virgo and Pluto in Virgo in the 9th house... What kinds of things should I explore and "play" with to learn about and enjoy this placement more ?
What kinds of things does this placement define (ie house is higher learning and travel...but what else combine with
signs and planets ) ?

I don't know the full details of the 9th house,have to study it more,but to me it is about travel,study,just expanding your horizons in general,which could mean a lot of things.So maybe someone with a lot of planets in the 9th house would go to school in a foreign country?
The 9th house is the Sagittarius house--all about freedom,not having any restrictions--

On top of what others have said, Cancer in the 9th could mean you are good at languages or able to understand different cultures. Venus there could mean you might marry a foreigner. IP: Logged |

Reading, finding God, finding what is your purpose in life, finding out why you are here, Astrology, all of these are 9th House pursuits. I have 4 planets in the 9th house and these are my personal passions. ------------------

Pluto in 9H Virgo - you could play or have fun through researching spiritual truths, pondering what is common among all spiritual practices and then eventually teaching others with mastery.Not just spirituality, but researching everything that will transform you in this life. I have Saturn in the 9th house.I have so many issues surrounding traveling and religion. My dad is the most influencial person in my life in regards to religion. I still do not know exactly what I believe. I do not have a religion and I love traveling even though I don't travel often. Saturn restricts the 9th house. IP: Logged |

Venus in 9th as well. Clingy, cuddly, idealistic romantic. Cancer wants to cling, but 9th house wants enough space to breath. IP: Logged |
