Hi,
Can someone give me the max orbs they use for synastries and natal?

For instance is a 6 degree sun moon trine to wide when looking at a synastry?

I heard different theories? Thanks!

Hmm I look at orbs as intense, medium or ambient. Close would be intense, obviously and further would be ambient. I would use from exact to 7-8 degrees for ambient.

There are different theories, Tgem. I think a 6 degree trine is kind of at the limit of acceptability, in my opinion, though some indeed might not even consider it since it's wide-ish. I believe wide orbs can be felt (especially since we are talking about Luminaries, which are sometimes allowed wider orbs), but for calculations re Soul Mates/ Twin Souls, I wouldn't count the wide ones, as they mess with the math behind it.

The widest orb allowed that I read about was 10 deg for conjunction/opposition for SUN in natal.
