If one is the owner of an Unaspected Planet, one has buried treasure. As in actual buried treasure, it does no good when it is in it’s buried state. There may be glorious diamonds. However, they stay as inert as coal if one does not bring them up from the depths. The location of your Unaspected Planet is important, too.I have not discussed this, to date, as it has just come to my attention in a profound way. The house location is where your Unaspected Planet was meant to shine. Of course, this makes perfect sense. I will address this subject in future articles. For the moment, I want to discuss the destiny of the Unaspected Planet. The native was meant for a specific purpose. Of course, the earth is incomplete without each precious life entrusted to it by God. We are talking about Unaspected Planets now, so will limit this discussion to their unique destiny.Each Unaspected Planet endows the bearer with a gift but also impels the bearer to give his gift to the world.

The unaspected Sun was made to have a shining identity. More Hollywood stars are Unaspected Suns than any other Unaspected Planet. The unaspected moon was meant to bring his emotions to the world and hence allow the world to understand their own emotions. The Unaspected Venus was meant to learn the lessons of love and bring the quality of love to the earth. The Unaspected Mars was meant to learn the lessons of drive and assertion and bring these lessons to the earth. The Unaspected Saturn was meant to learn the lessons of hard work and discipline and the climb to a momentous goal. The Unaspected Uranus was meant to learn the lesson of extreme individuality and bring that to the world. The Unaspected Pluto was meant to learn the lessons of power and bring that to the world.

I was bemoaning the sadness of an Unaspected moon until I had a profound understanding . I will share it. You take what you will. An Unaspected Moon cannot access his own feelings as his feelings are THE part of him which is buried. Remember, each Unaspected Planet buries something.Please, keep this in mind when dealing with Unaspected Planets. Venus buries love. Pluto buries power. The Moon buries feelings.The Sun buries identity. Uranus buries individuality and extreme creativity. Neptune buries anything from the next world, which could be psychic gifts, artistic gifts or mysticism. Saturn buries achievement of goals and maturity. Back to the Moon.The Unaspected Moon is born with the situation of being lost to his feelings. He does not have normal connection with his feelings. Feelings are our compass.One will be misshapen without access to feelings.That is the long and short of it. One is a mutant. However, one can unearth the Unaspected Planet and become a prodigy in the domain of the planet. This is what I realized yesterday.The emotional mutant can become the emotional genius.

This is a good question as one tries to plumb the depth of Unaspected Planets. Oneself, one’s friends, one’s study groups and especially the doing of charts is the laboratory.With that being said, I want to talk about the Unaspected Moon. I know two natives, to whom I will show this article. Perhaps, they will comment. They know better than anyone.However, per the nature of an Unaspected Planet, it may be buried to the person. Back to my question. Would an Unaspected Moon be able to blast someone? I ask this as I ponder the nature of an Unaspected Moon and, more particularly, the validity of the concept of a Semi-Unaspected Moon. I ponder this from trying to get behind the eyes of an Unaspected Planet. For me, I understand Astrology and each placement, purely, by getting behind it’s eyes. Until I do, it is, simply, head knowledge . Head knowledge is needed. However, it does not allow one to be fluid with a subject. Fluidity makes creativity, in my experience. At any rate, I have been pondering if an Unaspected Moon could blast someone. I would have to go back a few steps and explain an Unaspected Planet and the concept of Anger, astrologically.

An Unaspected Planet has no parents. Aspects are parents. Aspects link planets to each other. Hence, an Unaspected Planet is flying solo, in what the planet represents. I will list what each planet represents with a keyword or two.

Sun—-Identity, Sense of Self, Ego Strength

Moon–Emotional Nature ,Deepest Feelings, Deepest Heart

Venus–What one Finds Beautiful, How one Loves

Mars–Any Drives, Passions, Aggression, Assertion

Saturn–Restriction, Patience, Slow Working to a Long term Goal

Jupiter–Optimism, Expansion, Joy, Good Vibrations, Luck

Neptune–Makes Reality Hard to See, Lives in the Next Dimension of Creativity and Mysticism

Uranus–Rebellion,Being Out of the Box

The Moon is one’s feelings, if one wants to put it in one sentence. It is one’s inner child. Picture a child. His emotions become him. He does not smile with his lips and constrict his body with rage, at the same time. Picture a dog. A dog does not wag his tail and growl, at the same time. He is one, organic whole. Such is the case with the moon.It is our feelings. Hence, what relationship does an Unaspected Moon have to his feeling? He has no aspects. He has no linkages with other planets. What is the nature of his emotions? How does he feel his emotions? Consequently, how does he communicate his feelings? With that as a kind of background to my question, I come to my question. I postulate that an Unaspected Moon would not be able to blast someone. However,it would not be that simple, as an Unaspected Planet is buried,by the nature of it. Hence, it can both under do and over do, in the nature of it. The Unaspected Moon person may be overemotional or unemotional. His task is to be a genius in the realm of feelings.Quite a formidable task. However, it is his.This leads me back to my question and I will attempt to answer it, before I fast forward this to my Unaspected Moon friends. I think an Unaspected Moon would either blast someone off the face of the earth or be frozen. As to a Semi-Unaspected Moon, I wonder about the validity of Semi-Unaspected Planets.One aspect( other than a minor one) would provide a linkage. A linkage is not feral, by it’s nature.I left out an important part of the issue: anger. Mars is anger, astrologically. Mars is any drive from sexual passion to rage. My original question was brought up by a person who has a Semi Unaspected Moon and blasted someone. That person was myself, as this article may make no sense without that piece of info. I have a Moon/Mars conjunction at 9 degrees and a Moon/Saturn trine at 8 degrees.

Your Unaspected Planets—Pull Them Out and Don’t Stop

If you are fortunate to have an Unaspected Planet, you have buried treasure. It may be shipwrecked, as in days of old. It may be capsized.It may be on the bottom of the ocean, but you have it. Astrology never lies. Astrology is never wrong. The Astrologer may be, due to human error or inexperience. However, if your chart is accurate, that chart is a picture of you. As such, if you are fortunate enough to have an Unaspected Planet, you are fortunate, indeed. It is a responsibility.Personally, I don’t think one can unearth one’s Unaspected Planet without maturity. I think God set it up that way because the power in an Unaspected Planet is too strong for the immature soul. By the process of unearthing it, you learn it’s lessons. Then, you will have unique opportunities to use them, as that is the nature of God’s Gifts. They are for yourself, but, also, to be used for others. God wants to get TO you, so He can get THROUGH you. I am going to talk about each Unaspected Planet.

Sun—The Unaspected Sun can shine as no other, if the person can bring it up from it’s buried state and allow it expression. There are more famous people with Unaspected Suns than any Unaspected Planet. I can see this, as one would have a very unique way about himself, if he had to earn it and learn it, without help from “others”. Others are aspects, as they link planets. An Unaspected Planet is a feral child. He can, truly, go either way, as can an orphan. The Sun is our ego, our identity. If the Unaspected Sun has a buried identity and manages to bring it to the fore, he will, by the nature of the process, have a strong identity, which can burn like a pure flame, unlike another.

Moon–The Unaspected Moon is a child locked in an adult’s body. He truly is as innocent at heart, as he seems. People may resent him, as they think it is an act.It is not. This gentle soul is like no other. He is a tremendous gift to others, although he may suffer, a great deal. He may have had no real mother. Hence, part of his innocence is his real need for mothering. He has a way about him that makes others want to mother him. He is the eternal lost child, the eternal Peter Pan, as was Micheal Jackson, although he was not a true Unaspected Moon. He captures it’s spirit, though.

Either that, or he gives up completely. There seems to be an either/or dichotomy with Unaspected Planets. At any rate, the Unaspected Venus must learn about love through the doing. Love is the hardest part of being a human. It is the easiest, as well, as it is so natural. The Unaspected Venus must learn the lesson of how to use love. Love is a cruel taskmaster in that you do not tell him what to do. If you do, he will bite. You must yield. Yield to yourself. Yield to life. Yield to others. In yielding, you will be pricked . You will have pain the force of fire. However, within the pain, you will cast aside dross. You will find that under the dross is a purity of spirit, as in a child. You have had to make a very long trip to get back from where you started.

Mars–The Unaspected Mars must learn about drive,passion, anger aggression and assertion. That is quite a lot. The Unaspected Mars native could get himself in to trouble. It is a Herculean task. I have seen one out of control Unaspected Mars. When the native goes on an anger roll, hide your heads. He seems to have a white hot anger, consuming all.However, when it is over, he seems to come out of a self administered trance and act like little happened. Meanwhile, you are scratching your head, sitting in the midst of ruble. The Unaspected Mars must learn to moderate and modulate his anger. If not, he is headed for disaster. Go to Anger Management, if you need to. Grab a hold of that fierce beast. You were endowed with it for a reason. Remember, it is a gift, but you must earn it.

Jupiter–Unaspected Jupiter is thought to allow for unusual luck and good fortune. There may be a natural optimism and good cheer. This draws others to them, as they radiate a charisma. One likes to be near an Unaspected Jupiter, in the hopes that is will rub off.

Saturn–Unaspected Saturn is a very special person in that he has a great deal of integrity. He embodies the best of Capricorn. The employer for whom he works will have found a prize.He seems to have a sensitive conscience.He will be a friend on whom one can count.He is a serious person, one on whom you can rely. That means a lot in this day and age of “me, me, me”. You know what I mean. I am certain.

Uranus–Unaspected Uranus is one of my favorites. Instead of making Uranus buzz up to the ceiling, it calms Uranus down. The striking feature of the Unaspected Uranus is his creativity. The closest thing you will see to a walking Picasso is an Unaspected Uranus. Every facet of his being is creative, from his speech to his mannerisms. He does it his own way, but it is not strident. He has nothing to prove. He knows who he is. He knows what he has. He uses it in an understated way, which makes it all the more striking.

Pluto–Unaspected Pluto must learn the lessons of power. Uh huh, it is a huge task, not for the faint of heart. The Unaspected Pluto is a force to be reckoned with. I suppose some of them may roll up into a ball and abrogate use of their gift. However, with the Unaspected Pluto, I doubt it. I cannot see him going under the bed. He will wield power, his currency. He will misuse it, no doubt. Picasso did not start painting masterpieces, right off the bat. The Unaspected Pluto may be a pure demon on wheels, running over everyone and everything until he learns that the truly powerful speak with a whisper, not a shout.

I am doing the chart of a female unaspected Cancer Moon in the 10th House. I cannot stop thinking of Micheal Jackson, who had an almost unaspected Moon. He had one square from Saturn. This is a hindrance, so one can say that Micheal’s theme of the unaspected moon is strengthened. I think with sadness about Micheal’s life because I think he was misunderstood. People thought he was a predator because they did not understand the anomaly which IS the unaspected Moon. The holder of an unaspected planet IS an anomaly. Let’s get that straight, right off the bat. The person is an aberration. This does not mean the aberration is bad. It is just different. We must start from there, if we are to understand the unaspected Moon.

Micheal Jackson is a very public example of an unaspected moon. What one sees when one looks at Micheal is raw vulnerability. His sweetness is genuine. His childlike spirit is genuine. His love of children was genuine, not perverted, as was indicated by his lawsuit against him, which was settled When one is a pubic figure who was as wealthy as Micheal, there would be actual predators coming out of the woodwork. Micheal was the victim, not the predator, in my opinion. No person can know what went on behind closed doors, with absolute certainty. My opinion is based on knowing Astrology and knowing human nature

The unaspected planet is considered a gift. If one believes in reincarnation, which I don’t, the bearer of an unaspected planet was thought to have earned it by good karma. At any rate, it is considered a gift. I can see this with the other unaspected planets. However, the unaspected moon is very hard on the native. The unaspected moon native blesses others, while he may suffer, greatly. Micheal was a blessing to others. This is the hallmark of the unaspected moon. The unaspected moon possesses traits which are unheard of in an adult. He is, still, childlike. He retains an innocence , even though he may go through many trials. Perhaps, he is a child, locked inside an adults body, the proverbial Peter Pan. We love the story of Peter Pan. It endures through the ages because it lives, somewhere in the innocent part of all of us.

I pondered why someone like Micheal Jackson seemed to suffer so badly while others could dismiss troubles and move on.Of course, it was discovered that Micheal had severe abuse from his father, Joe. However, not all abused people react the same. That has been a thought I have pondered, for a long time, too. With my personal discovery of the unaspected moon, I have some answers. Society demands that the child grow up. However, there are some souls who stay forever childlike. The moon is the deepest planet in anyone. One does not show one’s moon in casual relationships. One’s Sun and Ascendant protect one, if one has a modicum of good sense. However, the native with the unaspected moon does not seem to know how to protect himself. He seems “out there” with his deepest heart, which should be reserved for the appropriate time and place. He does not seem to have the appropriate boundaries, as others do. The unaspected moon seems as if it is a gift to others, as he is a proverbial child caught in a man’s body. However, the toll it takes on the native seems as if he is a sacrificial lamb, of sorts. He was made for the world of children. However, the world of children is not safe, either. He was made for a world way back when before ego entered. The unaspected moon needs more ego. The ego is the Sun. His Sun does not shade his heart from the assaults. If the Sun does not dominate a chart, all sorts of problems emerge. The unaspected moon shows this dynamic, very clearly.

I think each person with an unaspected( or semi aspected) planet is obsessed with what that planet rules. The obsession does not have to negative. However, I think it will be, until the person faces the traits of the unaspected planet and pulls them in, rather than flitting on the surface of them. I think the unaspected planet calls you, in the nature of thirst. If you do not answer, you will be obsessed, in the same way that a thirsty man would be obsessed with water. The unaspected planet is a powerful force in the chart.The first step to taking the unaspected planet out from it’s buried state, is to follow that obsession.If you are an unaspected Venus, you may be too social. You may be a social butterfly and unable to stop. This is what I mean by the obsession part.One must follow the obsession, however, as it will lead one to the second step. In the second step, one starts to integrate the planet into oneself, in a more relaxed and natural manner.

In the second step, one faces oneself. One realizes that one is obsessed and asks why.If one is an uber social creature, one asks what this is accomplishing rather than running on empty.The second step is about seeing what the obsession represents, rather than mindlessly repeating it. At this stage, one realizes that one is using the physical world in a symbolic way. As an astrologer, I see this in my clients, particularly with the Nessus/Dejaneria asteroids. One feels one will die, if one does not get a person to love them. One will not die, in actuality. However, it feels as if one will. I have learned not to throw platitudes at people. Platitudes are cheap answers to a person’s angst. The person with the unaspected planet is similarly obsessed. Once, he sees that he has a symbolic reenactment, he can detach and observe.

The native with the unaspected planet has a gift. The unaspected moon may not seem like a gift to the person, but it is considered a gift. The unaspected moon native has special qualities,even though he does suffer a great deal, from his extreme sensitivity. He has a childlike manner that is unusual in an adult. He brings joy to others, by his childlike innocence and trust. People will not understand him. In my opinion, Micheal Jackson was targeted wrongly, in part because people did not understand the unique beauty of an unaspected moon. In his case, he had an almost unaspected moon, which works the same way.

I have a passion to help people unearth their unaspected planets, as I am unearthing my unaspected Venus. One has a gift with which one can bring fufillment to oneself and joy to others.
