This is what I've gathered so far:

1. Elemental singletons are usually stronger and more noticeable than other singletons.

2. The Ascendant counts, I'm not sure about the MC (I'm leaning to "doesn't").

3. Personal planets as singletons (Sun to Mars) effect the native's behaviour/psyche more. The qualities of the sign shine through more. People may "act" these singletons more.

4. Outer planets (Uranus and beyond / Jupiter and S-turn may go this way or above) effect the personality on a whole. Pluto singletons will be intense in their other placements, as an example. They might "be" these singletons, or these singletons will power/augment their other placements.

What do you find of my notes? What are yours?

What do you mean, Red? I see all Singeltons as being a single planet in an element. Are you using the term in a different way?

Are you using it for a "Singelton" opposition or square etc?

Oh I mean...an elemental singleton is one planet in an element.
A modal singleton is one planet in a mode (cardinal, fixed, mutable)
Then there's the same, but house-wise.

I haven't much looked at modal singletons either...as far as I can tell, at a glance, they're pretty much similar in the fact the native will have traits of the sign specifically.

I have a Pisces S-turn as only mutable planet, and I think I have some Pisces traits: imaginative, daydreamer, irresponsible...
