Are Yods only significant in a composite or can they be significant if found in a synastry as well? What is the importance/meaning of them?

You are very welcome.

Ummm in Composite I know it does. How would it work in synastry? I mean, how would you even determine it? One person would have the sextile aspect between anothers quincunx, you mean? I never thought about that. Have you even seen it?

Yes, I have seen it in synastry...my venus sextile our mars/saturn conjunction which quincunxes his mars..I've read where the finger points (his mars) is the area that need lots of focus in the relationship

I was wondering whether a Yod with an asteroid is as noticeable as a Yod with just planets.

I have noticed that I have a Yod with Black Moon Lilith in 6H/Virgo sextile Pluto in 8H Scorpio and they are both quincunx my Mars in 1H/Aries. I have known that this Mars and Pluto placement has a strong meaning in my chart that I have been trying to configure, but I didn't know much about BML, and even less about Yods!

I've heard Yods are very powerful if they are all planets with the fulcrum planet being the fastest moving of the three to make it a true yod.

I don't think you count asteroids with Yods.
