Hi,

What kind of relationship will develop for two people were in one the charts the 1st person's ascendant is in the 2nd person's 5th house. And the second person's ascendant, is in the first person's 8th house.

The ascendant is a sensitive point in each person's chart and can RECEIVE energy from a planet contact, but only planets emit energy, therefore, there would be no effect with an ascendent falling in someone's house unless it contacted a planet in that house.

I disagree with Jkitty, although I can see where she's coming from.

The ASC is - first of all - our appearance. It's our body, our body language, our gestures, the way we move, the image we project.

So, if your ASC falls in another person's 5th house, they may find you romantically attractive and sexy. You may evoke romantic feelings in them just by your presence. They may feel more lively, creative, inspired by you. That is especially true if your ASC is positively aspected by their planets. If it's afflicted, initial feelings of infatuation may turn to annoyance.

If your ASC falls in their 8th house, you evoke deep feelings in them. Your presence may make them feel deeply, and arouse their passions, which can be a bit scary. The house person can be fascinated by the ASC person, finding them to be mysterious and alluring.. but at the same time, they can be scared of them, and their attraction may suddenly turn into repulsion from time to time. The ASC touches a sensitive point in the 8th house person and if the synstry is rather complicated, it can be too hard for the 8th house person to feel comfortable around the ASC person.
If they do form a bond together, trust can be an issue, but great intimacy and passion are the potential gifts.

But how different is it from say Sun, Venus or Moon falling into the others 5th or 8th?
