I'm a mars in Virgo and I've been getting annoyed at every small thing that doesn't go my way. I'm getting upset at myself for that. I was wondering if there's any way to calm that aspect of me down? I'm normally not this prone to being annoyed/angry but lately, I've been waking up feeling upset too. Please help! Here's a link to my chart: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3803/astrow2at01alicehp48121.gif IP: Logged |

For someone with a 6th House Sun this sounds like nervous exhaustion. Drink herbal tea (I highly recommend chamomile esp. with lavender), cut back on the caffiene if you drink it, get plenty of sleep, and a little exercise probably would help too. Foods to eat: lots of fruits and veggies (esp citrus, apples and greens), fish, olive oil, flaxseed oil, nuts. Your nervous system needs protein, fatty acids, eletrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium) and B vitamins, esp B12--so be sure you're getting enough. And avoid things that are overstimulating, sensory-wise, emotionally, intellectally. In short, give yourself a break.Virgo Mars reacts in many the same ways as a 6th house Sun, so you have both of those vibrations. When either overspends itself, it gets fatigued, and that leads to nervousness and lowered threshold for everyday stress. But Virgo/6th house hates admitting she needs to rest. It's that Virgoan drive to serve, to work, to be useful. Healthy Virgoan balance is expressed in understanding when it's time to *stop* working and to rest and recuperate (that's the health-attentive side of Virgo). Virgo is great at making excuses for why she can't take a break. Don't fall into that trap. Your emotions are telling you that you need to take care of yourself. Listen to them. IP: Logged |
