If you could either post his chart with default birth time (or an approximate if he knows it, for instance, his mother said he was born in the early evening, so you'd set it for 5PM), or post an image(s), that would be a great help.

But, saying he was born on the cusp of Aries/Taurus, it would be easier to understand with the degree before us. And, I know at least for how I deduce these "guess the ascendant/placement" threads, I prefer to have some idea of the different aspect between two planets within a house or houses to the possible ASC... I cannot do that without at least knowing a little more about the person, or seeing their chart with the bare minimum of known placements...

My deduction process:
^ Taurus influence/Venus - Voice
eyes - Gemini/Aries influence
animals - 6th house/Virgo/Taurus influence
painting - Neptune, Venus, Uranus, or Pisces/Leo influence....

that's not much to narrow it down. Sorry! ^^;

I'm thinking he's a 6th house sun (or Moon even, but that would make it, again - change depending on his actual birth details! lol if he's either Aqua/Pisces rising then, but again... need to know more or see more...) where that sun is (Aries/Taurus), is gonna change quite a bit though... my vote will go to either Sagittarius rising or Scorpio (I want to see the Sun and Taurus fall into the 6th....

but that's my true blue guesstimate without much to go on... sorry!!! good luck!~

Ok, this might be my Capricorn stellium talking in the first house, but why do you HAVE to know someone's rising sign? Just go off of conjunctions, where do his planets fall in your chart? That's really the only important thing.
