Hi everyone, I was hoping to get someone's perspective on how much energy you'd think would flow from a natal aspect connecting to a synastry aspect. I have had a gander and didn't find exactly what I was looking for but anyone's inpput would really be appreciated. For example, I have a Venus sq Pluto in my natal chart, and in my synastry chart with my current lover my Venus is sq his Mars. I've researched and from what I gather V sq M is a bit of a flaky aspect, but there's such intensity between us. I'm unsure if it would be coming from his Mars conjunct my Pluto sitting on the tail end of this freight train or if my natal Venus sq Pluto is adding to the mix. I've noticed him becoming obsessive in certain ways, if he feels i'm pulling away he chases me until I get a reaction but then once I give him that reaction he calms down. That to me is what Venus sq Pluto is all about. Any idea or input? ------------------ Devoted to the Hunter IP: Logged |

Hi Merope,I'm not sure I get your question.. But here is the thing, and I think you got it right: you can't interpret aspects one by one and come to an accurate picture of what the dynamics are like (either in natal or in synastry). So obviously, you have to take into consideration every aspect a planet makes in order to understand how it really works and expresses itself. So for example, in synastry, if someone's Mars triggers your Venus - and if you have a Venus/Pluto aspect natally - obviously that Mars will also trigger your Pluto, and actually, it will trigger the whole Venus/Pluto issue within you and bring it to the relationship. So instead of it being a simple Venus/Mars square, it's part of a bigger configuration that also involves Pluto and maybe other planets, which will give a different picture. And we all know that Pluto can point to obsessiveness! The romantic/sexual tone of the relationship (Venus/Mars) is heightened by Pluto and its intensity and passion. It all works together. Thanks very much for the welcome Randall! And thank you Doux Rêve for the response. That was my round-about confusing way of asking whether the energies would mesh and inter-twine, so I'm thankful for your response! ------------------ Devoted to the Hunter IP: Logged |
