Topic: Aldebaran in natal..dangerous?

Could someone tell me if aldebaran conjunct ascendant is a very bad placement in natal. I have a young cousin who died a tragic death due to an accidental drug overdose. (he had aldebaran conjunct asc and mars) Could the fixed star aldebaran have been instrumental in his tragic life?
Also would aldebaran conjunct aldebaran, or conjunct ascendant in a synastry chart be dangerous? Thanks x

Welcome Friend and I am very sorry to hear that  I have this conj Venus. This fixed star will give you honors and riches BUT if you misuse it, you will go down into destruction. I take that very seriously and try to live an upright life. That is one man's opinion and again, I am very sorry for you loss. ------------------

You early home life may have been fraught with danger where you had to walk the line or could get hurt but if you did well, you could get honor and advance. Does this fit? ------------------

May I ask you a question about my Nessus conjunct north node, too, Ami Anne ? It's been a placement I've been pondering for a while; a very negative aspect according to most astrologers.
How will this play out in my life? Will I become the abuser or abused, or perhaps both ?  As a child I had a very controlling and domineering father, who at times could be abusive, not physically, but mentally, emotionally, and psychologically abusive. Would this be part of the abuse cycle. I have noticed in relationships that I find myself using the same negative abusive traits as my father, almost instinctively. I guess my work will be to curtail these impulses if it is possible. Do the aspects to the north node dictate the outcome, or can one overcome the negative aspects through effort and willpower;thereby resulting in a more positive conclusion and happier life?

Here it is again, hope it uploads bigger this time.
Apparently it is dangerous to have algol conjunct the north node ,it can cause violent death or death by accident
I read Stephen King has this aspect and he almost died in a road accident.
Think I'm learning perhaps too much, I'll be afraid to go out my front door lol

No Aldebaran is not conj the NN but Aldebaren is not bad, per se. I have it conj venus, exact. It will give you honor and riches but if you act without integrity, it will all come falling down and you will have public ruin lol
Some of the fixed stars give you a choice, so to speak. Some are just bad. Some are just good.

I would say that is is hard for you to feel a solid identity, although you are a very passionate and intense person. Your relationship with your Mom. was prolly super intense------------------
