I've been curious to learn about Arabic parts and what they mean?My PoFort is in Sag 1st house. What are all the different Arabic parts or lots and what do they mean? IP: Logged |

Arabian Parts are mostly based on Ascendent and calculations made between that and Planets. So birthtime is very important or ignore these. How is it aspected? IP: Logged |

There are special formulas. Unfortunately, different websites give different formulas for same lots. It really confuses me.I found this calculator, but I'm really not sure how accurate is it. http://libracentre.com/arabic_parts_chart.php
Parts can have reverse formulas considering whether the birth was at day or night.
In natal chart horizon is represented by ASC-DSC axis.
Day birth- Sun above the horizon (in 7th-12th house)
Night birth- Sun under the horizon (in 1st-6th house) Most famous example:
Part of Fortune
day birth: Asc + Moon - Sun
night birth: Asc + Sun - Moon IP: Logged |

You need to look through your own eyes and focus on the world to make the most of this placement. In Sag, it is in the best Sign to signify true happiness, you have the ability to be truly happy. Freedom being the Keynote here. The Trines to the Moon and the North Node in Jupiter's House denote lucky circumstances in your life, especially if you don't try to grasp; just let it flow and come to you. I don't think that calculator is accurate. The accurate one that I used was found here: http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/arabicparts/index.php
but it has been offline for a while now. Does anyone know what happened to this site? The Arabic Parts really make up the shadow chart, as explained by Carl Payne Tobey. Sometimes the secondary ascendant shows up stronger in a person than the natal ascendant. He talks about this in his book. The Part of Fortune is actually the Secondary Moon. (not to be confused with secondary progressions)
