Topic: On astro.com i'm getting two different progressed charts. Which one is right?

When i do natal and progressed chart*

The chart called "natal and progressed" shows your natal/birth chart, with your progressions in green around the outside, so that you can compare the progressed planets to the positions they were at when you were born.
The progressed chart shows ONLY your progressed planets, alone, in their own chart.

Thank you for answering and yes that does make sense. I'm just confused as to why some of my planets went back a house in the progressed chart only. Like my mars is still in the 9th on the first one but in the eighth on the second chart. IP: Logged |

Yes it's counter-intuitive that your Mars went back a house instead of forward, but that's because of the way your house cusps progress. Notice how your ascendant in your natal chart is 0 degrees Scorpio, and in the progressed chart, it's 16 degrees Scorpio. Your Mars has progressed from 8 to 11 degrees of Cancer. It has progressed forward as most planets do as it is in direct motion, but ends up in the 8th house instead of the 9th, because the house cusps of your chart have changed. Look at the box on the bottom left hand corner to see the degrees of your ascendant and house cusps in each chart.
