I hear horror stories about this transit but is there every any time when this transit can be good?

I don't do transits because I am paranoid enough in regular life

However, Pluto can be a good thing because he will dredge up what is hidden. What is hidden can never stay down. It will come out somehow, so one must TRY to face what is coming up.
