I am completely lost on this one. Anyone know how to explain what intercepted signs are, or what it means? I have a stack of books to look through and a few web sites but sometimes the information from this forum speaks best to me when I browse around.

As a beginner, I look at charts for learning, familiarity. One chart, in particular, has kept me coming back to it. Here's why.

It skips Aquarius and lists Pisces in two houses. And yes, it skips Leo and has two Virgos. The person has FOUR planets in Aquarius. But Aquarius doesn't have a house. This must be an indicator of something? I have no idea what. It's been in the back of my mind for a while as something to look into later, and what I've read so far has confused me ...so figured I'd throw the question here since I love reading what you all have to say.

Yes, if you want me to try to show this chart, I will. It looks normal at first glance... Any reading suggestions or tips, hints, tricks are all welcome. I finally decided to tackle this one because it baffles me.

Thanks so much!
Rebecca

Don't know which Houses it might fall under, but...

They call that a locked energy. The only way of expressing those two Signs, and the Planets they contain are through the auspices of the Sign on the House Cusps.

This is one of the many little things you take note of when researching Karmic Astrology.

Glad to have you on the Forum!

Thank you -- That is interesting, and my Gemini brain is doing flip flops.

House 4 is Capricorn, House 5 & 6 are Pisces. Then... House 10 is Cancer, 11 & 12 are Virgo.

In House 4 - there are four Aquarius Planets: Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars.

I'm going to look into more karmic astrology to try to grasp this better.

So Capricorn is on the Cancer House Cusp, with locked Planets.

Cancer is at the MidHeaven, where Capricorn presides.

Do you know where the Nodes and Vertex are?

(I ask as a Karmic Astrologer)

I would say I'll look it up for you, but you say it's not yours?

Most people would look to the Ruler; i.e. Moon and Saturn. Since Saturn is not so great by House, but good by Sign, Intercepted, check out the meanings of these Planets for that one. I would look to family and Moon as well.

I love that you asked about the nodes because this is EXACTLY what made me start to scratch my head.

The North Node is in LEO, it's an intercepted sign. So it falls in House 10 ruled by Cancer. And the Vertex is in Taurus, in the 8th House/Taurus.

LOL! I have more than a dozen tabs open on this subject, it's really interesting. I haven't come across much information about having the Nodes in intercepted signs. And am not very familiar with Vertex.

The chart is for a good friend of mine. Her birthday was recently so I was taking another look at this, as it interests me. I am sure I could post it if you want to look at this too. Will do it anonymously and/or ask for her permission just in case. The more I read, the more I feel there are a lot of karmic elements in this chart.

If you do, give me her information, and I will give you a couple of Reports, they do give Vertex and Node.

Yes, it looks very Karmic. So the Stellium is on the South Node?

Yes the Stellium and the south node are together. Very interesting. Right now, it is hard for me to verbalize and write down what my mind is grasping intuitively.

I am going to post the anonymous chart in case you wish to read or add anything to this. She's a good friend of mine, and from the start, our connection was always karmic. Hard to explain but our tie to each other is different than our ties to our other friends. And Karmic Astrology seems to be filling in a few gaps, confirming my intuition a little.

Will be easier to verbalize this when my brain finishes processing it all. haha!

This is a link to the chart. I guess the wheel is a template and doesn't factor duplicate houses.

House 5 and 6 are both Pisces. And 11 & 12 are Virgo. Will include date sheet if it helps, as I am new and error prone.

Thank you so much Ellyn. I am especially grateful to your replies and apologize if I was garbling my messages in the middle of confusion. I read through the link you sent in the above post and very neat -- it is from one of the sites I'd previously saved too.

Lately when I look at the chart, I focus more on the duplicated Pisces sign in House 5 and 6. Reason is because I wonder if Pisces in both houses there, especially in those two houses, would make it difficult for someone to understand business boundaries. We have tried to work together but I get so overwhelmed by her inability to understand the importance of business boundaries.

Before I came across intercepted signs and duplicated houses, I attributed this to Pisces in general (or a strong Neptune) but now I am leaning toward Pisces falling in house 5 and 6. haha! Of course, as I am new, could be wrong... but it is really making sense to me from this perspective.

Did these make sense? I ask so I know whether to share them or not.

Virgo and Pisces Duplicated: The houses with Virgo on the cusp are areas where we tend to either keep busy or be extra critical. The houses with Pisces on the cusp show where can use our imagination, instincts, and sympathy.

Fifth and Sixth Houses, Eleventh and Twelfth Houses: With the house of love and creativity (5th) joined with your house of work (6th), you need work that you can love or through which you can express your creativity.

Honestly, the Pisces part makes perfect sense.

Here's how:
The Pisces houses - 5 and 6, are exact - she does creative business work from home. And she's amazing with her work. Her imaginative abilities are endless.

And on the flip side:
House 11 and 12 being Virgo. House 12 is tricky for me (as a beginner). But I can say that in friendships, she would benefit from learning to be extra critical and practice more caution. She's met a few wolves dressed like a sheep so to speak.

This is partially why I have felt, repeatedly, that I have to hesitate when it comes to our business relationship. I am not one to take advantage or allow myself to be taken advantage of... And I can't teach her to find her boundaries. LOL
