Topic: How to decide someone's Ascendant by the look and personalty?

I have a friend who doesn't know what exact time he was born and his parents are too old to remember. Planets about his birth chart are below:
Sun-Gemini
Moon-either Aries or Taurus. If Moon - Aries, his Ascendant should be on one of them( from Aquarius to Leo). If Moon-Taurus, Ascendant should be on one of them (from Virgo to Capricorn).
Mercury-Gemini.
Venus-Cancer
Mars-Taurus.
Jupiter-Pisces.
Saturn-Aquarius
Uranus- Leo
Nepture-Scorpio.
Pluto- Virgo.
Ascendant is unknown. So my question is what is his Ascendant. Libra? Pisces?......I cannot finger it out. Can someone here help me by his look and personality? Thanks a lot! Here is about him:
He is average height, athletic built, about 173cm tall. His shoulders and arms look strong. He loves running(he is an engineer). He is not bald and looks quite young in look and mind. He is romantic, sensitive, attractive. He has very charming voice and smile. He is tender, sociable, funny, curious, smart and intelligent. He said he is shy sometimes and a little picky. He is attracted to funny, playful, curious, demure, pretty, caring, smart girls with great smile. But sometimes he is aloof.He can be a little jealous but not possesive. He also loves good food.He likes cooking and eating.

Hello mollywu! I am new here too  Basically from what I learned is that usually fixed sign rising (aqua, leo, taurus,sco) have squarish face, mutable sign (vir, gem, sagi, pis) have long and pointed face, cardinal sign (ari,lib,cap) have oval face, cancer usally have rounded face like moon U can also refer to link here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/010545.html As for the moon sign u can try Google for the description and see which one matches your friend more. If the Moon is in Aries,he is likely to be more outspoken and not very apologetic.When it comes to sensitive social issues, he will likely have a very clear and decisive opinion. Not likely to be factual though. If the Moon is in Taurus, its likely that he will not share his opinion much. If the opinion is shared, it is likely that it will be very grounded,logical and fixed. Based largely on facts and "what is". Also, observe the nature of his relationships. If the nature of relationships are a bit stormy and/or his partners are feisty,"speak their mind" types,then it is likely that Aries is the Moon. If the relationships are more grounded, solid and long-lasting and the partner is the type that you take home to Mom, then Taurus may be the Moon. For the Asc,it gets tricky. 1)I,for instance,have an oval head and yet I have Taurus Asc. But, it could also be because I have a cardinal T-cross? 2)It could also be a little more tricky to separate the Asc from the other positions-especially when it could be repeated. 3)Conjunction of personal planets -even outer planets can also affect the appearance. So watch out for this too. A Mercury-Sun conjunct can have a Cancer person "look" very much like a Gemini/Virgo Asc indeed. A Neptune-Sun conjunction can add a dreamy appearance to the person-giving off a very "Pisces" look. Best trick is to find someone who slightly resembles him; a celebrity or whatever and take it from there. You are most likely to get the modal nature of the Asc right and then, it's just a matter of "fine-tuning" for the best one.

Thanks a lot for your information, sorry I habe been out here for somewhile. I checked his birth chart, Geminis Sun is around 8-9 degree, Gemini Mercury is around 19'40-19'50 degrees......He works hard, and loves watching tv program on history and cooking, he likes to run, but put on a little fat now, but not overweight........ So his ASC is more Virgo than other zodiacs?????? IP: Logged |

An easier way would be to look at the angles. What is your first impression of them? Look at the chart and see which planets "jump" at you. Venus on the angle can make someone very nice and seem easy going. Sun on the angle can make someone very image conscious;the way they look,what they dress in etc Mercury on the angle can make one very articulate, talkative, seem very good with words.

I would guess he's a Virgo. It is very easy to spot mutable ascendants because of the long, round faces. He has a big forehead too - which Virgos are known for i.e Keanu Reeves.
