I am just starting to learn astrology. Could someone please tell me what a DW is? I see it is quite important to have these in a synastry chart. Poochy

DW stands for Double Whammy.

So if your venus sextiles his mars and his venus trines your mars that would be considered a double whammy.

Or his venust trines your mars and your venus trines his mars.

Your sun conjuncts his moon and his sun conjuncts your moon

or

His sun sextiles your moon and your Sun conjuncts or trines his moon.

It increases the changes that the attraction or love is mutual..

But even if you don't have a double whammy there could still be mutual attraction; you have to look at the synastry over all.

Hope this helped!

Hi Hypatia,

I just had a Synastry chart done and one DW was my 4th house ruler is exactly conjunct his 8th house ruler and exactly trine his Asc. For me, my mars (7th and 8th house ruler) is trine his moon (IC ruler) by one degree. Is this something to get excited about hee, hee? Poochy
