Hello!Since the start of the year, I've been determined to explore my spirituality and faith. I've consulted with a number of astrological systems and have started to understand myself (and how I relate to others). However, there are so many systems and I am just wondering which one is the most "accurate"? Some random questions: Are there any wrong systems? Does western astrology complement numerology (for example)? Is Vedic astrology more accurate than Western astrology? Do these various systems simply contradict eachother? ------------------ When in doubt, ask questions. ❤ Sun: ♊, Asc: ♏, Moon: ♈, Mars: ♈, Venus: ♉, Mercury: ♊, Jupiter: ♋ IP: Logged |

Each system can be mastered to provide meaningful results as there is an alignment for everything and everyone in this world. If you are searching to find which aligns with you just follow your intuition, your heart, your own guidance. Some systems are purer than others to the ancient and preancient ways. There are modern systems, too, that work and contemporary systems not even published. You can search for individuals today who are doing their own thing to expand your own knowledge base. You could start by purchasing readings from respected astrologers of each system and ask questions about how they interpret your chart. Follow the system that works best for you. Sorry to be so vague, but really, the best way to learn how to read your own chart is by getting readings and asking questions about those readings. This suggestion comes from the Pleadians who say that astrology is useful and is very much worth learning. IP: Logged |

This is subjective. In truth many astrologers say they are using one system when in fact they are using another. IP: Logged |

Yes, but there are many different western systems of numerology as well.

Both can be useful. Accuracy will depend on the astrologer. Western astrology is different in that it includes the visible planets as well as the outer planets and modern western includes asteroids.

There is much in astrology that contradicts. My personal opinion is that mathematical astrology is accurate and logical and a good starting point for those who want to begin learning astrology. Of course, it's only right for you if you are guided to it from within.

PS basically said it all! A lot of it "depends". Mostly you have to find a system that you understand and the resonates with you. For various reasons I don't personally like Vedic. However the professional astrologer that I consult sometimes uses both. I've read that Western is better for understand personalities and motivators and that Vedic is better for prediction. I can't confirm any of that! You'll have to continue to research. IP: Logged |
