Hello everyone!Could someone be kind enough to help me interpret my Venus placement? My Venus is in the 12th House, but is also in conjunction with my Ascendent (Aquarius) by 0°18s. Visually on the chart, it appears as right on the line between my 12th and 1st house. What does this mean - I've read very disturbing stuff about Venus in 12th house, some of which has been true for me so far, but will it be a theme for life, or does the immediate proximity to the 1st house show other possibilities? Thank you in advance! IP: Logged |

This is your choice. The disturbing part, when it comes into consciousness for you, that's the time to embrace it. Then, and only then, do you get to decide if it plays out differently. It becomes your choice, not nature's choice. IP: Logged |

Venus in the 12 th house has a beatiful and mysterious way of attracting people, that is the placement of someone who is very glamourous even if he-she is just walking or talking to; But we can forget that the 12 th house is about karma, difficultise in the subconscious and the domination of unconcious in our normal lives, so you will have some difficuties in venusian issues as beauty, charm, attraction, fashion, etc. IP: Logged |

Welcome Some Astrologers interpret planets that are very close to the next house cusp - as actually being in the next house. Do you relate to the first house Venus interpretations? IP: Logged |

Thank you Odette,Yes I do relate with Venus in the 1st house, but also with Venus in the 12th house - after much reflection and studying, I realised that both energies are prominent, but in different areas of my life (i.e. romantic love, other's perceptions, ideas of beauty and attractiveness etc.) There's still much more to learn from and about this placement I think, but the main message I'm getting from all sources is about 'self-love' as one of the main lessons for me - which is definitely a great start, and something I've been overlooking in my life.
