On astro.com, how do you choose the south node for natal and synastry?

I see mean node and descending node. What is the difference?

And is true node north node?

From what I understand,
North Node/True node/Mean node are essentially the same thing - Just calculated a little bit differently.

descending node is your South Node.

Hope this made sense! lol
