I am looking at my birth chart and my question is I am confused about houses and placements. When I look at my chart from Cafeastrology, it says all of my houses and what sign is in them, ie:
2nd house: leo
3rd house: virgo
Etc.

Sun Pisces Ascendant Leo
Moon Pisces. II Leo
Mercury Pisces III Virgo
Venus Aries IV Libra
Mars Aries V Scorpio
Jupiter Aquarius VI Capricorn
Saturn Scorpio VII Aquarius
Uranus Sagittarius VIII Aquarius
Neptune Capricorn IX Pisces
Pluto Scorpio Midheaven Aries
Lilith Aries XI Taurus

However my question is, it also says my sun which is pisces is in 8th house, moon is pisces in 8th, Mercury is pisces in 8th, etc.

So how do I interpret this? I Don't understand how my 8th house is Aquarius yet it's also saying I have my sun moon and Mercury which are all Pisces 8th house. This is really confusing to me!

This is very common. The houses and the signs are not divided up in the same way. The chart is 360 degrees around (a circle), divided up by the 12 signs. 360 divided by 12 = 30, so each sigh is 30 degrees wide, exactly; Leo is 30 degrees wide, Virgo is 30 degrees wide, Libra is 30 degrees wide, and so on.

The house can be bigger or smaller than 30 degrees, and because of this they sometimes 'skip over' signs, and when that happens there will be two houses occupying another sign, as a result. When this happens it always happens on the opposite sign, as well. So you have Sagittarius intercepted -- likewise, if you look at its opposite sign, Gemini, that sign is also intercepted. You have Leo occupying two houses (first and second) and Aqua occupying two house (seventh/DC and eighth).
