Hi! I often read something like: "I got Sun square Pluto in my 6th house." How do you know/find it out? For example, I got: Mars in 9th house trine Pluto in 1st house So, this aspect is in ??? house... Or do you need other information to determine the house of an aspect? Thanks for your help! OK If you have a trine for example. I have Merc trine neptune. Mercury is in the 9th House and it trines Neptune in the 1st house.
The Midpoints are a whole different thing but for YOU, you need to start at the very beginning. I have a Beginner's Course, starting with "What is a Chart" It is on this Forum, somewhere, some of it is anyway, so go back and see if you can find it, if you are interested ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Sry, Ami Anne, English is not my native language, so maybe you simply misunderstood my question? Otherwise, I can't see how your answers relate to my specific question. Metaphorically, the conversation pretty much looks like this: I ask: "How do I fry a steak perfectly medium?" You answer: "Yes, you FRY a steak." (= missed the point) I: "Well, do you use a certain kind of pan? F.e., do I need a crock-pot?" (= wrong, because crock-pots don't have anything to do with it) You: "Ok, you want to fry a steak. I like to fry steaks, too. But crock-pots are a whole different thing. YOU have to start at the beginning. I have a Beginner's Course starting with "What is a cow?" See what I mean? :P I'm new to this forum, but I'm not an absolute beginner. I've probably read and re-read 30, 40 or more articles specifically about houses, planets in houses and aspects. Usually, I'm very good at doing research, but I just can't seem to find this specific information. I'm baffled, so to speak. Maybe I only asked the wrong question or the way I stated my question doesn't make any sense? Well, let's start anew, again with an example: There is: Sun 19°29 Cancer in House 10 square Pluto 16°29 Libra in House 1 My question in different variations: - Where is this aspect? - In which house is this aspect? - What is the location of this aspect in my chart? - How do I find out in which house an aspect is placed? Thank you!
P.S.: BTW, neither Google nor the LindaLandSearchEngine found your Beginner's Course, even though I tried a fair few search term variations and clicked through roughly 50 pages of Topic Titles.

There is:Sun 19°29 Cancer in House 10 square Pluto 16°29 Libra in House 1 My question in different variations: - Where is this aspect? - In which house is this aspect? - What is the location of this aspect in my chart? - How do I find out in which house an aspect is placed? The aspect encompasses TWO Houses. You can't say 'where is it" in that single sense. It is in two places. An aspect can be in two houses such as a trine or an opposition. An aspect may be in ONE house such as a conjunction. Do you see? ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yes, thank you. Blame mathematical terms for my blockhead in this matter! The penny dropped today, when I drove to work, and now you confirm my suspicion. You know how they use brackets in math to see what part of a term needs to be evaluated first? F.e., the difference between: 1.) 10 + 8 x 5 = 90 and 2.) 10 + (8 x 5) = 50 Subconsciously, I always read "Sun square Pluto in the 1st house" as "(Sun square Pluto) in the 1st house" and thought that this is some advanced astrology. That it's always "Sun square (Pluto in the 1st house)" didn't even cross my mind. Still, I really don't need a Basic Course or even a Basic Basic Course. This is like asking a student to go back to kindergarten because he didn't understand an assignment in 9th grade. :P
