hello,

In my natal chart I have Venus in the sign of Libra, in the 7th House, with a house chart Libra resonance.

I will have progressed Venus retrograde for the rest of my life. What happened during that progressed Venus retrograde? Are there themes that I should look out for?

I tried to do some research for you on the matter but there seems to be little to nothing. However, I'll share with you what I could find. Retrograde Venus periods might be considered a time where one might pull back from social contact or opportunities for social contact decrease. But what mostly happens is that a shift in focus and perception occurs. It's a time where Venus matters become more potent to the native. You might find that you are becoming more sensitive to Venus's energy and recognize Venus's needs. During the adjustment period you might find yourself feeling a bit isolated. You might find yourself looking around at others thinking to yourself "Why does everyone else seem to be finding love or being appreciated so easily?" This however, is just the natives personal perception as they are becoming more deeply aware of their needs, their sensitivity is now heightened. Again, Progressed Venus turning retrograde represents, more than anything, a shift in the natives perception. This does not mean that there will be a decrease in opportunities for establishing love bonds unless, they choose to hide from these opportunities. It is important to note that when a Progressed planet changes directions, the years surrounding the motion change will see the most drama because these are the times of adjustment to the shift in perception.
