Is there a way to tell the best way to lose weight via astrology? Possibly the 6th house? My 6th house is unfortunately Sag and I also have sun in Taurus and Cancer rising. I do enjoy food more than I should. Is there a way to tell by house how my body best loses weight?

This is a Lada Duncheva's vídeo on Moon Dieting.
She attributes food groups to the 4 elements. And during each moon sign period you should privilege the element. Like: fire sign moon/fiery type foods.
She explains it pretty well.

I think it works because it leads to some calorie restriction. Look I'm Sun/Júpiter conjunct person. I understand your struggle with food.

Try eat healthy. But use nice spices so you reduce salt and eat tasty ;-)That's the best way for a Jupiterian to keep a diet.

You have a Taurus sun, hum. Why not a Venusian like physical activity? Dancing! ;-)

Thank you! Since I'm a Cancer rising I think the moon diet will help . I did dancing in junior high, but I wasn't that good haha. I run now and hike the local hills, but ugh it gets boring. Competitive eating is a sport right? LOL jk !!!

When Jupiter started going through my first house I acutally had gained a lot of confidence..and slowly gained weight throughout the transit through the 2nd-5th house. I think having Saturn in the 6th is a great weight loss transit to look for too. I’m about to have my Jupiter return and it will be going through my 6th house shorty after, and I’ve been pretty health concious lately so I’m excited!

I'm going through my second Jupiter return right now in my third house!!! Also, Saturn did enter my 6th house Sag in December and that's when I started to gain. Jupiter in my first house made me lose surprisingly!

*~*

~ Hi !

I think we should take a look at planets transiting by 1st/2nd/5th/9th and 10th Houses, they can give a boost to one's metabolism.
To put it very simple.

• 1st House. Personal identity, performance, charisma, image, persona, appearance.
• 2nd House. Survival liquid assets, emotional security, resources, food, nutrition, digestion, values.
• 5th House. Creativity, new begginings, innovation, birth, babies, risk-talking, ventures, projects, hobbies, recreation, fun & games, romance, passion, pioneering.
• 9th House. Sports, Lighten Up and Feel Good, no stress, comedy, exploration.
• 10th House. Goals and achivements, self-control, ability to rely in one's strength, competition.

In other words, the more movement you have in your daily life ==> the more your metabolism is stimulated.
==============================

About nature of planets.
Jupiter

It's true that Jupiter grants a expansive nature, but when it comes to movement, it's far from having a "let's-do-nothing nature". Jupiter loves to live, to learn new experiences. Jupiterian people is always learning something new, looking for new horizons, They are eternal aspirants.
Jupiter learns from direct experience ( wich tell us a lot about the nature of the planet and the habits of people ruled by it )

Transit of Jupiter on 1st

Chance of any possible influence of negative stress due to material security and basic needs being left aside, gradually.
==============================

Influences that may limit your will.

Lack of movement, depression, destructive fellings, fear, apathy, stress due to a sense of obligation (imposed most of the times by certain responsibilities and/or material ambitions( never-inherent to human existance))

Would be pretty much the reason why our body 'reacts' with any physical disbalance ( problems with weight gain / loss, inflammation of one or more joints, blood pressure, large etc ).
Since they are negative connotations (lessons) of the planets, I won't comment about them, you just have to use your imagination a little
==============================

As you know, going on a diet doesn't mean Not-eating

Sporty gals eat a lot actually, about 5 small meals a day. I remember that back in time some years ago, I used to be on a diet like this ( as far as I can remember)

Meal 1
Pancakes
Unsweetened Almond Milk
8 oz
Mixed Berries
1/2 cup
Almonds
21 lol, not 20

Meal 2
Chicken Breast
4-5 oz
Green Veggies
1-2 cups
Sweet Potato
1/2

Meal 3
Almonds
15-19

Meal 4
Salmon
4 oz
Quinoa
1/2 cup
Green Veggies
1-2 cups

Meal 5
Chicken Breast
4 oz
Spinach
2 cups
Kale
1-2 cups
Avocado
2-3 tbsp

lol but I'm no longer that strict with myself , on the contrary, I feel better than ever now without any particular diet. I'd say it's because my natal chart has progressed. Also, you don't even need to go to the gym ir order to lose weight. A simple pilates routine at home is more than enough most of the times, a low-carb diet does 70% of the job, physical exercise is only 30%

* Good Day !
~ Bye

p.s
Cancer is quite often physically strong, healthy and with enough will power.
If someone says that you are weak and/or not capable to do something. Don't listen, don't hate, ignore and go on.

@SunAscendant I guess it's more complex than just what house a planet is transiting haha

@GemBird82 so interesting!
