If I’m correct they aren’t very compatible .. except of Jupiter (isn’t that important isn’t it?) they have nothing in common. Her dominating element is water and his is fire,that’s not a good combo.
And this is what surprised me at first. They were together for 5 years and broke up 1 ½ months ago. yesterday I’ve read that at this time there was a venus retrograde which is said to cause trouble in relationships.
She is my bestfriend and a very honest person so whatever was going on, she told me. They got along pretty good actually, didn’t fight often. I told her about the venus and mars stuff and how important the compatibility is when it comes to these signs. she said that sparks were always flying and it was very passionate even after all these years. And of course our friends saw how they acted around each other, super comfortable and definitely one a wave length.

I mean I know that certain things just aren’t and wont be determined by the stars. So my first question is: what was the reason they got along so good even though they aren’t that compatible? does it have to do with the houses? Or is this something astrology isn’t responsible for?
In the end you aren’t 100% the person the signs describe you as, so even though they aren’t compatible on paper, they can be compatible in real life. Could this be the case?

she ended things cause her ex bf’s male friend introduced him to his girlfriend and her female friends. Her ex started smoking weed a lot (more than the other boys), and my bestie thinks that this is what impressed the girls. And he loves to impress people. This lead to going out every weekend (the girls called him and he jumped), and his friends gf introduced him into coke and xtc. he started to change – she noticed it, I noticed it and some other friends too. He forgot about appointments, was always sleeping or partying, didn’t study for university and got into financial trouble. We all didn’t knew that he was doing coke and xtc regularly and just thought that it’s the side effects of weed even though this was a bit unusual. She broke up because he downplayed all of that and didn’t want to face the truth. Even though he kept telling my bestie that he loves her, he took the breakup quite easy, said that he doesn’t want to bother her and that he actually doesn’t love her as much as before. And 3 weeks later got together with the girlfriend of his male friend. So he didn’t just lose us and his male friends, he also has financial problems and trouble with his siblings. We thought that it’s the drugs that creates a bond between him and the new girl. they weren’t even together for a week and already booked a vacation (a close source told us that).

So I checked his new girlfriends signs and wow .. If I’m not wrong, they are super compatible right?

This is what caused me to think that maybe they’ve found each other, and they feel it which is the reason they ‘re rushing things. He even said he wants to attend her university next year and study the same she studies even though he is already on another university with a higher reputation and he already is studying economy so this doesn’t make sense.

next thing: I looked up some websites for descriptions and traits and I was on the social platform tumblr where a lot of ppl have their blogs and asked some astrology blogs about their opinion. I checked my friends sign, and a lot of the descriptions weren’t true. And when I read the description for the girl or my besties ex, most of the stuff isn’t correct too. so my next question would be, if there's a reliable website when it comes to traits and descriptions? cause when i asked the people on tumblr (showed them the signs and explained how the person acts in RL) they actually said that the signs match MY description, not the description on the websites.

has to be the center of attention, can be his worst enemy when he tries too hart to impress people, needs affection and loves when people are impressed of him, isn't good with money (in fact my bestie had to help him with managing his financial situation and keeping an eye on his savings), not that motivated or hard working (his ass needs to be kicked), aggressive, in terms of accomplishing goals he needs help from others, loves to be courted and enjoys attention, generous, seperating love and sex is no problem for him, open to new experiences, comes across as "know it all" when he's talking

his girlfriend
demanding, was kind of cold in her previous relationship, charming, friendly, she wants it her way (if she wants to party until 10 in the morning and the rest of the group doesn’t want to, she will do it alone), is taking risks, dramatic, doesnt take advice but gives advice, fun at parties, broad minded, doesnt help or support - very egocentric, doesnt talk about problems, seeks approval and loves being the center of attention, enjoys attention from opposite sex and brags about flirtations, isn't good with money

What do you say, does this description fit the charts? this is how i/we experienced them (or what the girlfriends ex boyfriend told me).

And the last thing i dont understand: lets say two people are 100percent like on the paper and super compatible. in some aspects this can be good but what if they dont complement each other? two people with leo venus - yes they have the same styles when it comes to love but both crave affection and love. i dont think they can fulfill their needs. or two venus caps .. wouldnt they be too cold for each other? two cancer venus would be good IMO cause they both give love and need to be loved.
I have the feeling that compatiblity has more to do with having something in common, same goals, same ideas and same styles and that compatibility doesnt mean that the signs will complement each other.

What do you think? Am I twisting something?
