I have a strong interest in anything "underground" and obscure, but I'm not a spiritual person. More of a skeptic, to be honest. I'm interested in astrology and other mystical and occult topics from an intellectual perspective (12th house Pluto opp Mercury) and that's it. IP: Logged |

Yes, aspects are more important than signs. Very interesting that 12th house Pluto gives you watery aspects of Pisces.------------------ Cap Sun Leo Moon Aqua Merc Aqua Venus Cap Mars Leo MC Libra Rising ~~~Blessed Be~~~~ IP: Logged |

My only water sign is my Pisces moon. I can cry over youtube videos but can't stand mushy-gushy affection. It makes me feel like a baby, I want to be talked to and not smothered.I used to think I had aspergers. I used to try to read all kinds of things about body language, etc. I've always been really quiet and used to want to be able to just converse easily like it seemed others could. Sometimes I wish I could get a little more excited about things though- Astrology seems to be the only thing where I seem to be able to express my enthusiam. IP: Logged |

This is really interesting cuz when I do charts, it is really hard to be seen as something and it really not be a core part of you. The same for a Void element on the ASC! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Hey deepseastar, how ya doin'? Nice pointers on what it's like being a water void. Some of my friends are - and what you said resonates with what I've seen about them. But after all, you are here - on an astrology forum, talking about water voids. You may not be as detached as you think. Although, of course, it could be your 12th house Pluto pulling you into the esoteric.

Oh Gee, To me this world is filled with people some of which feel more than they think and some of which think more than they feel. Feeling is not the same as being perceptive as many feeling people want us to believe because they do. Both types of these people need the other to varying degrees. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

I blame it more on Pluto. I like astrology because it's fun to see what people come up with, not necessarily because I believe in it. IP: Logged |

It's odd about element voids because sometimes we come across more like the element we're lacking than our dominant elements. I have no planets in Air signs yet people see me as logical, intellectual, I write often. But, I have a hard time getting out of my shell, tend to isolate myself sometimes, can be shy, introverted at points. With Air void I get too wrapped up in my feelings and it has taken getting older to see this trend. This is something I want to transcend. IP: Logged |

Agree. My aunt has no Earth, yet she was a tomboy as a girl. I have only Scorpio in my chart with Jupiter there. I come across as cold but I feel emotional, it is less seen by others. All the Aquarius in my natalC masks my true depth. Plus I was diagnosed with ADD but as I have read over the years, I wonder if I have Aspies. My style of communications and relations fit that. Curious if certain personality types are due to the lack of certain elements a NC. IP: Logged |

I have no Earth in my chart and yet some people think I'm very down-to-earth lol 😂😂Is it possibly that my draconic side is showing, because there I have a Virgo stellium with a Cap Moon? I am very spontaneous, so much so that people get angry when I can just do everything I need at the last minute (a bad habit that I can't help lol). ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Randall you don't appear to be cold. True to my Earth void, I don't have a practical bone in my body.

You feel very warm, Randall. You feel full of adventure, too. Sometimes, people have a weird compensation with voids. I am an earth void, as you prolly know. We are not practical, but money seems to come to us easily, which is kind of a contradiction, that kind of thing. We can be good in business I think Trump is an earth void or very low earth. This surprised me, but he has an earth MC, so seems very earth like. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I'm completely water void, too. Mainly air and earth here. However, aspects can make up for this I think, as well as emphasis on the water houses...so check those too. I have pluto aspecting nearly every one of my planets including the moon, plus some neptune contacts. I'm *very* sensitive, deep feeler, intuitive... So much so that when I first did my chart and discovered I had a Gemini moon I re-did my chart several times, because, surely not lol. 3 of my personal planets are ruled by mercury too, and my mercury is in my 8th house, so I've often thought of this as a bit of a 'swap out' of sorts. I think it can work that way too. That being said, all of the signs/archetypes exist within us. We have access to all the potentials, but only if we look. Just because someone is void of earth doesn't mean practicality is out of their reach, for example. It may be harder to find that it flows as naturally, is all. I've found a lot of people tend to overcompensate for where they feel they lack, too. Either that or they find someone who has what they're 'missing.'

Planets in water houses or Neptune aspects can in some ways compensate for this. For this reason, it's difficult to be truly void of any of the elements. IP: Logged |
