Topic: If your Moon is your partner's sun?

I'm trying to remember how this goes but I can't remember...If your moon sign matches your partner's sun sign, I heard that this could be a strong attraction. (Ex. If you are a Moon in Libra and your partner is a Sun in Libra) What if it were flipped (your partner's Moon sign is your Sun sign) does this change anything? Can this also apply to friendships too? Also, if your Sun sign is your partner's ASC, or if your Moon Sign is your partner's ASC, does this signify an attraction too? In what way would this situation be different from the Moon/Sun situation? IP: Logged |

Moon-Sun aspects involve both people's inner nature and personality while Planet ASC can give more of a feel good vibe to the ASC person.But they're both very good to have with someone :-)) IP: Logged |

But do you think the Sun/Moon will be a deeper connection? B/c the ASC is more of an outer persona but the Sun/Moon is your core. IP: Logged |

Yes, either one, but the Sun person will be the stronger, more dominant personality, the Moon person more receptive. I like to call this the "best friends forever" aspect. It doesn't matter what one person does, there is a strong "for life" attraction. Very forgiving placement, too. Such a connection. Also, another way to look at it is for the two people who come together, the Sun provides what the Moon needs and the Moon provides what the Sun wants. IP: Logged |

Ah I see thank you. Yeah I have a friend who is a Moon in Aquarius and I am a Sun in Aquarius. He is a Sun in Sag and I am a Sag Rising! We rarely spend time together since we live far, yet we easily pick up where we left off and no matter how long we go w/o talking, there's never awkwardness at all. There's definitely a 'friends forever' vibe. IP: Logged |

Sun-Moon aspects in synastry are actually good aspects. I have a Taurus friend with a Libra moon that makes a grand trine (three trines with three planets) with my Aquarius Sun and Gemini Moon. Somehow we can stay out of contact with each other for long periods of time and are still friends, even though I may question it. She always comes to me when having a bad day and needing to talk.
