What does a person mean when they say that they are a lunar Libra in decan and duad?

When someone says lunar, they are referring to their Moon sign. Solar=Sun and Lunar=Moon

As for the duad, this is when the zodiac signs are split into 12 2.5 degree sectors. There's a difference between Duads and Dwads, so be sure to take note. Dwads start with the first 2.5 degree sector being Aries, the next being Taurus, etc. This applies to every sign in the zodiac, so with my Aquarius Sun at 6 degrees, it would be in the dwad of Gemini.

Duads, on the other hand, work the same way with one exception: The sign itself is the starting point. With Libra Moon in the Libra Decan and Duad, they must be saying that they have a Libra Moon from 0-2.5 degrees Libra. With my Aqua Sun at 6 degrees, it would be in the Aries Duad since three sectors from the start of Aquarius lands in Aries.

Hope this has helped

Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?

Hello Electro DGX, thank you for answering my question. I still don't fully understand it. But I'll study it more.

As I look into this more I'll probably have more questions to ask.

Two more question today though. Are Dwads the same as the Decans of each sign?

In relation to Duads though. I haven't fully understood this. Your natal sun is in an air sign. I'm trying to understand why its Duad is fire sign Aries when Pisces is in between the two?

Dwads are also referred to as the "12th harmonic chart". Dwads, as well as Duads, act as undertones to the placement of the planet. That means that someone with Libra Mercury in the Duad of Libra is going to be a bit different from someone with Libra Mercury in the Duad of Scorpio.

Duads and Decans are the two of which that are linked together. Duads is basically a more in depth version of Decans, which as I said previous, rely on the 30 degree sign of the zodiac being split into 2.5 degree sections.

Here is a chart for Duads to help:

If you look at the chart, you'll notice that the decans still exist, but have become much more complicated since Duads are basically more in depth than decans. My Aquarius Sun sits at 6 degrees Aquarius. 0-2.5 degrees is the duad of Aquarius, 2.5-5 degrees is the duad of Pisces, and 5-7.5 degrees is the duad of Aries. That is why my Sun falls in the Duad of Aries (it is still in the Aquarius Decan per say). For Dwads (not Duads), apply the first column for Aries to every sign in the zodiac (which also represents your 12th harmonic).

8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus

Hey Electro,
Thanks for the table explanation. But what does the end column mean? The Duad No.

That just lists the Duad number.
