I came across this post on Tumblr and thought that it would be good to post the info from there to here.Planets, Houses and Physical Appearance WHAT BODY PART(S) ARE RULED BY EACH HOUSE 1ST HOUSE: Head, forehead, how your facial features look (I.E. your cheekbones, nose and eyes) 2ND HOUSE: Throat, neck, larynx 3RD HOUSE: Arms, hands, shoulders 4TH HOUSE: Chest, breasts 5TH HOUSE: Heart, back 6TH HOUSE: Stomach 7TH HOUSE: Hips, butt 8TH HOUSE: Penis, vagina 9TH HOUSE: Thighs 10TH HOUSE: Knees, skeletal system, bones (including facial bone structure) 11TH HOUSE: Calves, ankles 12TH HOUSE: Feet WHAT BODY PART(S) ARE RULED BY THE PLANETS SUN: Increases masculinity MOON: Increases femininity MERCURY: Makes it more angular, thin or easily affected VENUS: Makes it more aesthetically pleasing MARS: Makes it more muscular/defined or rough JUPITER: Increases size SATURN: Decreases size URANUS: Makes it look unconventional or complete opposite of described NEPTUNE: Makes it look better than it really is PLUTO: Makes it more square or subtly defined/prominent Examples: I have Mars (more muscular/defined or rough) in the 9th (the thighs) and thus have very in-shape and lean/muscular thighs. Angelina Jolie is renowned for her natural beauty because Venus (makes the body part more aesthetically pleasing) is conjunct her Ascendant/1st House (head/how your facial features look/physical appearance). Her Ascendant is at 28 Cancer, so it's ruler is the Moon (increases femininity) and her Moon happens to be in Aries (again with the head/facial features) increasing feminine facial features giving her natural beauty forever. Pamela Anderson who is known for having large fake boobs has Venus (aesthetically pleasing) and Pluto (makes a body part more subtly defined and/or prominent) in her 4th house (chest/breasts). Shakira is known for having a toned stomach because Pluto (makes things square-ish/subtly defined/prominent) is in her 6th house (rules the stomach area). IP: Logged |

I'm a Taurus sun but I'm tiny as well. I'm 5'3 and 100 lbs (I'm Cancer rising which usually produces petite people; I also have Capricorn dominant which also usually makes someone more "skeletal or bony" since it's ruler Saturn rules the bones/skeletal structure). I would say ANYTHING in Sagittarius would make one bigger. I have no planets in Sag, but it is my 6th house, so I've been known to have an expansive Jupiterian type diet from time to time lol. Uranus rules my 4H (Breasts) and conjuncts Jupiter in the 1H and I have a pretty pronounced freckle on my nipple, Sorry for sharing TMI but that is a strange unconventional thing about my breasts. I always wondered what could explain that freckle in my body. Fascinating thread. IP: Logged |

mmmm I have venus conjunct Mars in the 10H and Mercury in the 10H I have a very thin bone structure, my wrists are very small, I look a big fragile specially when younger that I was too skinny...I have a very feminine body but bc Mars is there too it gives me a more thin feminine look than the hour glass voluptuous look if you get what I mean. Well I am hoping that Mars in the 10H means strong bones bc my mother suffers from osteoporosis. My health seems to be more connected to the genes from my father's side of the family I feel though. However I have mercury in the 10H which means fragile bones, hopefully it cancels out then. IP: Logged |

hahah I am loving this thread. My husband has very strange masculine unconventional looking feet. One of things that stuck out with him were his feet. The thumbs in his feet are unusually large, at first I didn't like his feet but I quickly grew to loooove them deeply bc they make him unique, I really do love his feet, they seemed very strange to me at first, I had never seen feet that look like his.His Mars rules his 12H and conjuncts by 1d his Uranus and Mars conjunct Uranus are right on his DC. My feet on the other hand are ruled by venus which conjuncts mars which both sextile pluto and trine neptune. I also have pluto conjunct Saturn in the 12H. My feet are not large, they are not super petite either. I am 5'6 and my feet are 7.5 inches so they feel appropriate for my height I feel but some people who are shorter than me have bigger feet than me. I would say perhaps my feet are slightly smaller than what they are suppose to be for my height or the average. I have had a few guys when I was young suck my toes and found my feet feminine. "Today, the average American woman has a shoe size between 8.5 and 9" in the 1970's the average was 7.5 and I was born in 1983. Size 8 Is the New 7: Why Our Feet Are Getting Bigger: http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/10/16/size-8-is-the-new-7-why-our-feet-are-getting-bigger/ The human body is constantly evolving, and as nutrition for people in the western world has increased (as has acccess to high-calorie junk food), so have body sizes. At the beginning of the 20th century the average woman wore a size 3.5 or size 4 shoe. This increased to a 5.5 in the forties and remained this way till the 60s. By the 1970s, the average female foot was a 7.5 and now, forty years later, the most common foot size for the American female is somewhere between an 8 ½ and a 9. IP: Logged |

Haha not voluptuous. If you look at professional female runner's legs mine are similar but maybe not as veiny or muscular. IP: Logged |

I don't mean voluptuous in this case as in fat but as in curvy toned strong thighs, I have always wanted thicker thighs IP: Logged |

This is such a great list! Some interesting insights... I have sun in 3rd and the only part of my body I really like is my shoulders - they're muscly and toned (I'm a girl but they look good and balance out my hips)! I have moon in the 6th - and do have a flattish stomach, even after a kid. Mars and Jupiter in the 7th - I am a classic pear shape, with strong quads from years of sport (they're conjunct ha). I think saturn in the 8th is a good placement for a girl (ahem)! And an empty fourth house, even with taurus on the cusp, means a flat chest. But, fortunately, Ceres is in the fourth so at least they're shapely, and did improve after my son. My best guy friend has a stellium in the 11th, including the sun; and moon in the 9th. His favourite bodypart is his legs IP: Logged |
