Astrology is a language. It operates as does any language. First, one must learn the basic parts. Then, one must put them together. I have a very simple lesson guide to learning Astrology. It introduces you to Astrology in the simplest and easiest way I know how. I am a teacher. I have a ninth house stellium of Gemini Sun, Gemini Mercury, Gemini Venus and Cancer Moon conjunct the MC. If I can take a difficult concept and make it understandable, I am very gratified. I remember the moment I learned to read. Everything came together for me and I was a “reader”. Learning things is very exciting to me. Imparting them makes it all worthwhile. Onto our subject, which is, really, how to find valuable information from the chart without extensive study.1. Upper Hemisphere/Lower Hemisphere If most planets are in the Upper Hemisphere, the person will be an extrovert. If most planets are in the lower hemisphere, the person will be an extrovert. 2. The Sun Signs Study one at a time. Look at people in your life. Look at famous people. Try to “feel out” the Sun signs. You will learn, little by little, to become fluent with an important part of Astrology—the signs. Each sign is like a unique animal. It has certain unique traits. One sign may be a giraffe and another an otter. One must be able to go ” behind the eyes” of each Sun sign and try to SEE life as they see it. 3 The MEANING of each planet. Each planet has a thrust. The Sun is one’s ego. The Moon is one’s deepest heart/soul. Venus is love. Mars is drive. Saturn is restriction. Jupiter is expansion. 4. Stelliums Stelliums are three or more planets in a house or sign. This causes the person to have a FOCUS of energy here. Stelliums are very important. They really define the person. I have a ninth house stellium. I am very intellectual but can’t clean the house or organize my drawers or closet worth a ….. well, I try not to swear, so…… worth a darn. Certain stelliums are very hard, such as the first, sixth and seventh. The first house stellium may be very self centered. The sixth house stellium may have physical issues. The seventh house stellium may tend to give her power to a partner. Hence, one can learn a lot about the person, simply by identifying stelliums. 5. The Houses The Houses show spheres of life. Some spheres of life are very important to a person. These houses will be occupied with planets. Some houses will be empty, These sphere of life are not as important to the person. One must understand the meaning of all the houses in order to understand the charts. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Good article for beginners Ami.But please tell me there is another way to interpret the 1st house stellium! I am driven and whole-hogged, but it's pretty difficult to be self-centred with an 11th house Virgo Moon and North Node in Cancer! (although granted, half the planets are technically in the 12th house, but many still regard this as a stellium as they are in-sign and in-orb) IP: Logged |

VoixIf planets are within 10 degress of the ASC, they can be counted as 1st house. What is the nature of yours? ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I wasn't aware of that, seems different astrologers have slightly different rules on this.Mars 18'Libra (12H), Saturn 22'Libra (12H), ASC 23'Libra, Pluto 26'Libra (1H). IP: Logged |

Mars does too. That changes how you should read your chart imoYou are a PRESENCE You kind of light up the room when you come in. This would be excellent for a musician. The whole self centered thing can be really bad when Moon, Sun, mars, venus etc conj the ASC or are 1st house. That person can be really demanding and not know it or see it. The person is not "bad" or "mean" or trying to be demanding. Her focus is very much from an inner perspective. Her lens is very self focused and it can be hard for someone to deal with cuz she may take a lot out of you and not know it. That is my experience with a lot of PERSONAL planets in the 1st. Saturn and Pluto don't seem to do this, though. It is more so for the personal planets and the really huge stelliums, too lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Thanks for this Ami.It makes sense that the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars would personalise things more than the outer planets. I would maybe say this could lead to a more subjective outlook or focus. It's funny you say about presence, I think other people notice me more than I notice myself. I'm too busy paying attention to everyone else, if that makes sense. But people tend to point things out to me about myself and leave me wondering why they even noticed it, it feels at times like they feel they need to just say something. Not always pleasant things, I may add! I've read things like this can be Pluto on ASC. I actually dislike attention TBH, but it's a small price to pay to follow my musical passions!
