It's good that you did quote what you did. I missed that post. In response to it:

I feel like I've been to Ooty, but I was really little when I did, so I don't remember too much about it.
Sounds like a nice trip. I want to go to Kerala at some point. It seems like it'd be a cool place to visit.

I've never been to Goa. My parents honeymooned there though, lol.

I actually don't know a lot about Sri Lanka. What language do you speak? (I'm sure you speak Bengali too, but I mean with your parents.)

I thought as much... so i didnt delete the quote : )) cheeky??

I feel like I've been to Ooty, but I was really little when I did, so I don't remember too much about it.
Ooty is kinda nice. We stayed right below Ooty hills. We stayed at a place called. The Serai at Bandipur.. we didnt see any tigers nor elephants. Then we moved to a simple Inn called Langton INN... thats where deers n herds of elephants came to a spring(?) to drink water. They walked in very close to our room. I loved it. Then when we were about to leave a huge tusker was right behind us!! Im mentioning the names of the places in case u r keen on visiting them.

Sounds like a nice trip. I want to go to Kerala at some point. It seems like it'd be a cool place to visit.
Yes! Im sure u would love it. Esp a honeymoon or a trip with a loved one(read girlfriend) would be so romantic!

I've never been to Goa. My parents honeymooned there though, lol.
Wow we honeymooned there too!! I love Goa.. i liked the sunburn fest.. havent been there in a while..

I actually don't know a lot about Sri Lanka. What language do you speak? (I'm sure you speak Bengali too, but I mean with your parents.)

Kingofcups Sri Lanka is a beautiful country but.. we had to leave cuz of ethnic war. It was voted the best honeymoon spot by NAtional Geographic few yrs ago.. My friends have been there recently and they loved it.
I'm a Tamilian : )
Kingofcups U said u visit your family in India- are they from your mom's side? I hope u dont mind me asking u that... im kinda curious.

I didn't mean to ask the question like that. I should've worded it better. I don't know a lot about the culture. I've seen some stuff about Sri Lanka, enough to know that it's nice.

Oh… duh. I'm such an idiot, lol. I just watched a movie about the war AND knew that it was Tamilian because of the movie, lol. It didn't occur to me until you said it though.

They're from both my mom and dad's side. My mom's from Mumbai, and my dad is from Gujarat (although, my mom is Gujarati as well and has family in Gujarat).

I missed this post! How nice to know yr parents were from India. Did they move to the US before u were born?
And why i didnt find anything wrong with what u asked me about my mother tongue. Infact some ppl mistake me for a Bengali gal. Lol I dont know why...
Was the movie a Sri lankan movie? But im lucky we noved to India. I just LOVE this country. Ppl are so great and good to each other unlike where I was born.

Lol, I figured at first, but then I forgot about it myself. What made you go back to it?
Yes, they did.

No, it's because I just saw something that I knew that from but forgot about it.

No, it was an Indian movie.

That's so sweet of you.

Ya, it was a Hindi movie. It's not too recent, but it has to have been within the last year. It wasn't a documentary or anything, but it had to do with the war, so then I was curious about the war, and my dad told me about it and also about the fact that they speak Tamil in Sri Lanka.

No, I'm an Aquarian. I have no Taurus influence at all. Which makes me curious, why'd I come off as a Taurus? I do have Pluto on the IC though, which makes me somewhat Scorpionic.

LMAO. That was the stupidest thing ever. I can't believe how popular that song got. I mean, it was catchy to an extent, but seriously.
Yes, they do. It's really easy though because of the way the language sounds if you don't know what people are saying. Like, I've read subtitles while someone was speaking to see what it looked like in Roman letters, and it looked like a language, but when you hear someone speaking, it all sounds like random, bouncy sounds. (No offense btw. I haven't delved into the language enough to speak from a standpoint that doesn't sound ignorant.)

Also, I don't know how that movie made the most money of any movie ever. That is absolutely ridiculous.

Aquarian! Wow. Such a cool sun sign.Im sooo bad at guessing sun signs... IRL Im mistaken for a scorpio : ))
So pluto conjunct IC? Is that a difficult placement? I have Saturn n vertex conjunct my IC. Pluto also sits close to the IC. All in the fourth house.
That song is very catchy! My north indian friends whenever they meet someone interesting, they ask me to translate all these lovey dovey tamil songs lol. Nowadays many hindi movie producers are buying tamil movie rights. For me watching a movie once is like watching it too many times...
Today is my birthday! I should step out in a bit : )

Lol, thanks.

It's supposed to be, and it is to an extent, but I like it. It adds an intensity and emotional/psychological depth to my personality that I don't think would be there otherwise as well as a willingness to be committed in a relationship. I have an Aquarius Stellium, so I'm supposed to despise anything and everything that restricts my freedom, and whereas I do hate most things that do that, I don't hate everything that does that. Saturn probably helps with that as well, but Pluto comes with passionate obsession that can be beneficial when used effectively and not allowed to control you.

There are quite a few of those kinds of songs in Hindi as well; most of the good ones are like that.
Lol.

Happy Birthday!
It's actually the birthday of one of my closest friends as well as my aunt too today.
I saw your thread in Personal Readings. I'll take a look at it if I have time later.

No wonder u dont come across as a detached person. U r very considerate also very stable as a person! I have two aquarius friends. The gal is kinda great. In fact she is very emotional and cries at the drop of a hat (not great cuz she cries easily wow that came across wrong. She is very intelligent)But the guy. He is a snob lol. I mean he confuses me. One day he would be very sweet and then next day he would be like "who are u again?" Very weird. N this is coming from a Gemini lol. Then I got bored of the same drama n ignored him. But we became friends again. Apparently he is a sweetheart but I dont mind read ppl at all. My bad. I think with Pluto sitting on yr IC u would be very intense/passionate type. Must make u a great bf material : ))
Do u watch hindi movies often?. I havent watched that many but I have watched few nice movies. Some karan johar movies. And amir khan movies. But the actor I really liked was not so famous. His name is Nana patkar. He seemed very intense.
N Kingofcups I love hindi songs. Like 'Tum hi ho' from aashique2. But the ending was saddddd. Very unrealistic. My friends used to have a song "Hey Hali' from Gangster as a caller tune. It sounded bad till I realised it was NOT a catchy number.
N thank u for yr wishes. How sweet a close friend n an aunt have their birthday today.

U

Thanks.
I can be very detached, and I like to be when it comes to most things, but I'm not detached in relationships.
No, it came across fine. You're trying to show that she is an emotional person even though she's an Aquarian, right?
Lol.
I don't come off as very intense or passionate. I don't let very many people get past the Virgo Ascendant, and even fewer get past the Aquarius Stellium. But those who I fall for and those who I trust have experienced it and know that it's there.
Lol, thanks

Yes, I do.
That's an interesting choice. But yes, he does come off as very intense.
(So, I looked at a picture of him because I suck with names, so even though I've seen his movies I had to look him up, and as soon as I thought about his seriousness, I thought, it's different from mine. There is a Capricorn feel to it and maybe a Mercury-Pluto aspect. So, I looked up his Natal Chart, and he has Sun Conjunct Mercury in Capricorn Opposite Pluto in Cancer.)

I love them as well. And yes, all of the songs from that movie were great. The ending made me so angry though. Very few things upset me like that ending did. So many people struggle to find love, and so many more lovers struggle to be together for so many reasons. In this case, they were together, and everything was going so well. And then he kills himself. Are you kidding me!?!? You just threw everything away and gave up?!?! What is the moral there?

I know like every Hindi song made in the last decade, and I was so confused when you wrote the name of that song. It took me such a long time to figure out what song it was. I really like that song. The first time I heard it was on a show, someone named Sharib was singing it. He did a great job with it, if you know who I'm talking about.

Idk whether or not I'll get to it, tbh.

Could I have your email? I think the majority of this conversation would be better held through email.
