I have found it to be 100% true as well. I've written two thesis in my life. The first one i wrote, i had a really bad relationship with that professor. It's like we both annoyed each other, i was even feared to visit him for recommendation or so, he was so mean and negative, jeez.

And synastry also shows some trouble, like:

His Sun square my Sun (may really not be a problem at all, but somehow we did clash a lot!)
His Venus square my Venus
His Mars square my Mars
His Sun conjunct my Saturn
His Sun conjunct my Neptune
His Lilith conjunct my SN
His NN conjunct my DSC

But this is all so different with this second professor with whom i wrote my second thesis. He is younger than that before, and really cool. We clicked. During the consultations we were laughing, joking, he smiled a lot, was really helpful!

And voila! the synastry is so great for that:

His Sun trine my Sun, Venus, Mars - a grand trine in AIR, really close (within 3 degrees, with Venus and Mars even closer - it is like i completed his grand trine (Sun-Mars) and he completed mine (Venus, Sun - Mars)

His Sun opposite my Moon
His Moon opposite my Sun

His ASC conjunct my Sun

His Mars conjunct my Mars (i also find him really attractive, and once i met him... in the same gym i attended! )

His Venus conjunct my Neptune
His Venus trine my ASC

His Jupiter opposite my Sun

His Pluto conjunct my Venus
His Pluto conjunct my Mercury

His Neptune trine my Moon, sextile my Mercury, sextile my Venus, opposite my Mars - all exact...

Share your synastries with your professors/teachers and tell what kind of relationship did you have with them - bad, good, awesome ?

Nothing so interesting, just bachelor and masters.

Congrats! Selene

I wish I had my teachers data for this comparison, but I don't. Or maybe I should check some of them who are a bit famous, who wrote some manuals...that's a good idea in fact, thanks!

I wouldn't really call him a professor, but a mentor in the practical clinical setting. Um.. I had a crush on him back when I was an intern But when I started working there, I discovered parts of him that I didn't really like, which I didn't see at first because well, I idealized him too much. We also had an issue and didn't speak to each other for weeks, but it's resolved now.

He's 14 years older than me. I'd say, the most interesting aspect in our synastry is his Capricorn sun conj my NN by 2 deg.
