Absolutely Fascinating couple, very beautiful together.
She was trenedously in love with him, wanted to marry him.

He probably thought she was fascinating and exciting (her Uranus and Jupiter on his 5th house ruler), but couldn`t imagine her as marriage partner (his 7th house ruler is not connected to her personal planets as far as I can see). IP: Logged |

I haven't looked at the charts yet, but as far as I know from celeb gossip, she's a "material girl" with a love for cash and glamor while he's more laid back, normal and intellectual. They were a terrible match from his POV. (maybe hers too, in the end) Probably they connected through their Sun sign initially.Looking at the charts now  IP: Logged |

For one thing, I can tell you he has no hard aspects to his Moon - he doesn't like girls in hard aspects to his Moon (it would be interesting to check his synastry with the other Jennifer) and she only makes hard, even harsh aspects to his Moon - and he has no Moon/Saturn in his natal - he does have a Sun Saturn though. Also his Cancer Venus trines his Moon, she only brings that Saturn sextile. Just a first glance.And if we are to believe the story, his 3rd house ruler, his Sun, also on 3rd cusp, receives only one aspect, a square from her Neptune, I think...so maybe this story is true after all, about intellectual and basic life values incompatibility. His Sun is also in his 2nd, and his Mercury there too - her Sun conjunct Mercury on his 2nd cusp and a harsh square from her Saturn - she probably tried to change his views and values...I remember that she wanted him to wear fancy clothes and jewels and he didn't want that, he didn't care. oh no, honeythe woman was madly in love with the guy. Madly!! She was ready to do just about anything he wanted from her. It was not a matter of money, she is filthy rich, come on now.
He just bolted out of the relationship leaving her completely heartbroken. It was mentioned that he didnt like be in the spotlight so much, and they were constantly in it! IP: Logged |

yes, LL, It was mentioned that he didnt like be in the spotlight so much, and they were constantly in it! She even went on to change her clothing style from glamorous outfits to plain jeans and flat shoes just to satisfy him, but guess it wasn't enough for him. Nah I looove him and Jennifer Garner together soo much better. They are beautiful together! There synastry is awesome too and they have 3 beautiful children.JLo was and still is too much for him(anybody really). Their synastry was too much. Hence why they aren't together now. He didn't love her half as much as she loved him. He loooves Jen Garner. He left her because of that Saturn opposite moon. IP: Logged |

here is the synastry and Composite with Jennifer Garner - the woman he chose to marry over JLo.Again, we see his 7th house ruler Saturn conjuncts her Venus, just like with JLo. Their composite features a Sun-Venus conjunction, whicvh I guess felt so much sweetier and compatible.   IP: Logged |

She brings no soft aspects to his Moon, or Venus...so...look at the power of the Yod, and the power of Moon opp Sun, even out of sign.
Actually, his Moon opposes her Sun/Valentine mdp, probably exact.
Her Sun makes a Kite with his Sun/Mars and his Jupiter, apex his Moon, interconnected with Yod...can't beat that! Tightens his orbs for Jupiter and Pluto, makes a cross with three of her planets, "imprisons" his Venus lol makes Kite with the nodes...no wonder Mercury is the key here, he loves a woman with a sparkling intelligence, a fast, deep mind...she has Mercury opp Pluto trine Neptune sextile Saturn in her 10th: she's a smart girl with imagination, wit, intellect. interests etc. The gossip was apparently right IP: Logged |

Verrrry striking is the start of their relationship (late 2001) in the HELIO progressed Composite;- Venus 23'21 Taurus
- Mars 23'48 Scorpio
- Saturn 23'32 Taurus (- Jupiter 26'34 Scorp) They BOTH went through an exact (1*) Venus/Mars trine in their helio progressions! (hence the opposition in the progressed composite) I've seen this more than twice, exact Venus/Mars conj/opp in the progressed composite with the start of a relationship.
My parents had an exact (appl) venus/mars conj. in their progressed GEO composite, to name one.

JLo was in the news today, saying that during the Bennifer era, she thaught Ben how to dress nicely.
The host asked her who is better in bed - the singers ( Mark Antony) , the dancers ( that young and ugly boyfriend of her Casper) or the actors ( Ben).
She said - the singers and the dancers.

Note that none of the women puts any planets in his 7th and 8th houses, and J Garner doesn't even touch his 5th. Seems like he didnt mind it. Both of them put planets in his 12th house, however, and it seems important for him.
Why?
Because the ruler of his 7th and 8th house is located in his 12th house, in Gemini. 12th house is his relationship house. JLo put her Gemini Venus there, J. Garner put her Gemini Venus, Mars and Moon there. She won. P.s. It seems, in general, that the ruler of the 7th house shows what we are attracted to, not really the sign of the DSC; the ruler seems more important - by sign, aspect and house location. and sometimes the secondary house seems to point to a deeper attraction than the primary, which is immediately felt (like someone's Sun in your 7th), but if the ruler or the secondary is not aspected, it could lead to nothing.
For example, all Leos put their Sun in my 7th (Leo intercepted), and I generally feel some kind of partnership is in their air....but...if they don't aspect my Moon and Sun directly (my 7th rulers) and/or put something in my 4th/5th, I don't want them as romantic partners. The house where those rulers are is also important, for a direct aspect like the conjunction, if this is what your chart needs - like in the case of Ben Affleck and his 12th house. IP: Logged |

^^^Same with me, no aspect to the ruler of my 7th and 8th, no attraction.
Ancient astrologers placed great importance on rulers (Lords ) of the houses and the condition of the Lords, especially in horary chars. My sister has the same Asc/Dsc as Ben Affleck, but her Saturn ( 7 and 8 house ruler) is located in her 9th house. Her husband doesnt put anything in her 7, 8 and 9 house . But He puts 4 planets, including venus, in her 12th house. Well, it turned out that her Saturn - the ruler of her 7th and 8th house - is in Pisces!!! How fitting for a 12 house overlay! Looking from a magi perspective I was surprised to not find any GEO personal sexual aspect with JLo.
But then I suddenly saw (and here is where we have to leave magi) a strong and tight Juno/Venus/Mars Quindecile-YOD.Juno: 3'39 Cap
Venus: 19'15 Gem
Mars: 3'30 Sag His Saturn (18'34 Gem) right on her Venus there... (also parallel) His Juno is at 17'42 Libra. An extra sexual link to her Venus. U know.. this reminds me of the theory why almost all couples have a Saturn/Mars aspect (In any dimension) .. it's to dampen the sexual force from (the) one (with strong sexual urges) which MAKES him/her (want to) STICK... a commitment possible..
