My Vertex on their Sun-Moon Midpoint 0°, both at Sag 8°.The only thing I've been able to find on it was here: http://astrolady.wix.com/astrolady#!the-sunmoon-midpoint-in-synastry/c1eb2 It said this: "Vertex to Sun/Moon midpoint aspects: This aspect indicates a fated, karmic connection. The two of you feel as though you are meant to be with each other. This is likely to be a life-changing relationship." Some people have said that point to point synastry isn't felt, but I've not found this to be the case personally. I always feel it if someone's angle hits an important midpoint. Does anyone have any personal experience with Vertex on Sun-Moon midpoint?

The reason point-to-point is so hit and miss is the fact you're dealing with one abstract to another. Generally speaking, it's accepted that it must be physical point to abstract / theoretical / calculated point. Someone's PRIAPUS is at the same point as my SUN/MOON. But that's a calculated point. It's possible what's felt is the conjunction to my EROS instead. Who can truly say? I'd say unless the VERTEX is hitting one of the two luminaries, that it's just too theoretical. Personally. I like that writer, but I feel she was cut-and-pasting cookbook delineations -- going with the SUN/MOON and then just adding in the general understanding of VERTEX. Rather than having performed any real research, and able to say she's actually seen it behave this way. IP: Logged |

It's part of a Grand Trine. His Sun trine Moon, both trining my Vertex. I agree on that writer. I like her site, but I did get the feeling she wasn't speaking from personal experience on that particular aspect. I'm hoping someone who's encountered it personally will come along.

I have this - my VERTEX angle conjuncts his SUN-MOON MP (ANTI-VERTEX to be precise), however that is also exactly where his 7R VENUS resides. So it's hard to say. IP: Logged |

His 7th Ruler Mars also conjuncts my Anti-Vertex. So, it's his Sun trine Moon, with Mars in the middle sextiling both. His 7R Mars on my Anti-Vertex and my Vertex forms the grand trine with his Sun and Moon. So, it's actually a Kite pointing at the conjunction of my Vertex/his Sun-Moon midpoint, with his 7R Mars involved, too.
