Topic: Double Asc/Vertex in Synastry between sisters?

LOL so lil' ol me just had the "brightest" idea to ask my mom for my sister's birth time (no idea why I never thought to ask before), so now I FINALLY have her TOB  . Anyways, at first glance I notice we have a tight Asc/Vertex conjunction both ways and in our composite, Vertex is right on the Dsc. How does this play out between siblings? Synastry

You're ... (timpani, please) ... SOUL SISTERS! Well, as well as being actual sisters. VERTEX-ASC links are present in significant soul ties. Among the most unavoidable relationships we can have are those with our biological family. Could you add in KARMA (3811) and DESTINN (6583)? I'm going to guess there are some linkages there, too. Also, this is fascinating.Your charts almost exactly mimic each other. Did you notice that? Though three years apart, you almost have the same distance between your personal planets. Wow! Do you feel very similar? IP: Logged |

I updated the Synastry and Composite I already had my sisters data in astro but I never really looked at it (in depth) until now since I didn't have her correct TOB. We've actually lived apart most of our lives, she with my dad in Florida (just recently found out her dad is someone else) and I with our mom here in Michigan. After our mom and my dad divorced (when I was 2 and she was 5), my sister wanted to live with him so she moved there and lived there (with some visits up here sometimes) up until just last month when she moved back up here. Even though we mostly lived apart, when we were together we got along pretty well (although we did have mini sister spats, but never anything serious). Just recently when she moved back, I went to visit her and I cooked dinner for both of us and we hung out. Since we've lived apart for so long, we're still getting to "know" each other though but I'd say we're fine. Due to our upbringings and somewhat different environments, we have a few different interests (music, way we dress, etc.) but they don't cause any differences between us and we just respect the way we are.  funny enough my mom somewhat "planned" that. She didn't want to have to spend a lot on our birthdays so she and my dad planned (and hoped) that I would be born around the time of my sisters birthday. IP: Logged |

I wondered about that! I mean, that's just too close. Wow! Hysterical, and oddly pragmatic! It's interesting, as I got a strange feeling when I saw you were born in the same place. My brain went, 'well, duh, they're sisters,' but that wasn't it. I felt there was something odd about it. Now I know. I think the close links and the ASC-VERTEX tie is a way you 'contracted' to stay close and ensure a relationship in this lifetime -- despite the odds. Which it seems as if you have. Well done! Thank you! I also find it interesting that we have Pluto/NN conjunct in our 3rd house Composite (house related to siblings). And, destiny in our composite is conjunct my moms Sun by 2 degrees. *Also to note, my mom and I share the Asc/Vertex conjunctions both ways too! It's wide though at 4 degrees My mom's and sister's Asc and Mc's are conjunct by 3 and 4 degrees. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *I'm just typing my thoughts here on everything that I find interesting, you can ignore this lol* My mom, sister and I all have at least 3 planets in an angular house. - Mom has Jupiter/Neptune in 1st, Sun/Venus/Mercury/Saturn in 7th, and Pluto/Uranus in 10th
- Sis has Sun/Mercury/Jupiter in 10th
- I have Moon in 1st, Sun/Mercury/Venus in 4th, and Uranus/Neptune in 7th And we all have our Moons in a fire house - Mom's Aries Moon in 5th
- Sis' Virgo Moon in 9th
- My Leo Moon in 1st We all also share a Virgo/Pisces sign IC/MC axis, however my Ic is in Virgo and theirs is Pisces. Also, being that I grew up with more-so with a maternal figure while she grew up with a paternal figure, it's amazing how Im 4th house oriented and she's 10th house oriented. IP: Logged | |
