Wondering if anyone has ever experienced this in synastry.

Basically, me and this guy met in college two years ago. We had two classes together and I just knew from the minute I walked into the room he thought I was really attractive. I mean, cheeks got red, couldn't stop staring, etc. We had this relationship where we bickered in a cute way, like he'd make fun of me for something and I would be sassy back, etc.

Anyway we began to officially begin talking about one summer later. I ended up ending it because he lied to me about something to impress me. Then he got a new girlfriend, I got very jealous, and we had an EXPLOSIVE argument. We ended up having to work together in a Biology lab the whole next year :\

Anyway, I haven't seen him in a while but we're working together in an internship. He's still dating this girl and he's obviously in love with her, but he flirts with me in that bickering way he did before. He always smiles when I'm in the room, he can't stop blushing when he talks to me, etc. I see right through it and so do all the other interns- he has a thing for me but is hiding it.

I would consider this behavior normal if he had any Gemini or Aries placements, but he DOESNT. He has a Virgo sun, Taurus moon, mercury in libra, and venus/mars in cancer. Those placements would make for a very loyal lover, someone who is sincere in his emotions and pretty serious. His new girlfriend is my polar opposite- she's a granola hippie with her own garden and I'm a Leo/libra drama queen with expensive taste.

I have a cancer sun, moon and mars in libra, and mercury and venus in Leo.

In synastry, we have mars AND venus conjunct sun, in addition to mars, venus AND uranus square moon, moon opposite Pluto, and sun conjunct AC. He is always the first in the aspect listed.

My theory is that cancer is a sign that tends to cling, so even though he's in love with this girl he wants to romanticize me. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

He has natal VENUS conjunct MARS? And your SUN is conjunct it synastrically?

I think with Venus/Mars on your Sun, he found you very attractive. His Venus/Uranus makes him prone to sudden, rather superficial infatuations - meaning that sometimes people with Venus/Uranus feel a sudden arousal based on looks (Venus). But his Moon in Taurus shows he is a stable, long-term guy, so he most likely loves his girlfriend and doesn't take flirts too seriously.

Indigo- he has venus and mars in cancer that conjunct my sun in cancer. So yes, in his natal chart venus and mars conjunct one another.

LeoLoo- There's no venus/uranus interaction in our synastry. It's just venus (cancer) square moon (libra) and mars (cancer) opposition moon (libra). Sorry if I made that confusing.

You wouldn't need the Uranus aspect with Venus in synastry. If HE has Uranus-->Venus, Uranus can act like lightning; impulsiveness to the contacted planet. Since Venus aspects his Mars and YOUR Sun, the Uranus/Venus in his natal would hyper-augment the feeling of infatuation with you, and he'd act on it (flirting, etc.), since the Venus aspects the Mars (action/impulse).

Uranus is basically the impetus to his actions because of the aforementioned Mars/Venus--->Sun scenario.

Thank you so much for your time! You guys are right- he has Venus Opposition Uranus and Mars Opposition Uranus natally. I understand what you're saying- because venus and mars are afflicted by Uranus, they tend to act unpredictably towards me. Venus is also squared to Mars right now- could this be significant?

Because Uranus is affecting his Mars and Venus, does this mean his actions are in genuine? I always thought that Sun-Venus contacts created a bond between two people, kind of like glue. We've always had this kind of relationship, though- the banter and the teasing. Except now he's just turning from mean and genuinely rude to flirty.

I think Sun/Venus is more of an unconditional love/affection aspect, it's not necessarily a passionate aspect; it can be, if other aspects point to that. Also, usually the Venus person thinks the Sun person is physically attractive.
