Hi everyone,I'm not an expert at synastry charts but out of boredom I compared my chart with someone I have a big crush on. However, circumstances aren't right at all , so nothing will happen , I'm very realistic and not into soul Mates or any if that- just a side note! So I pulled up the natal chart and I found this person has a stellium just like mine ( sun, mercury & Chiron) but in different signs of course- he also has a grand trine like mine. In synastry chart we also have a lot of those well talked about aspects ( nodes, Pluto Venus all that ) I thought this was funny because I've never experienced such similarities in a natal chart with anyone- let alone somebody that is so completely different than me. Or a synastry chart so hot! I've done synastry chart with all my ex boyfriends...and nothing special ... No good aspects at all-I guess that's why they are ex's lol! Anyway, this came as a surprise and I thought I would share... Just my luck I would pull up a chart that looks like it would be really hot but only with someone I can't have!! Ahhh! IP: Logged |

i think you just taught everyone synastry 101 with that story... no matter how hot a chart is between two people it's meaningless unless the person likes you back in some way. but it is fun to look at random charts and helps with chart-reading skills! :-)IP: Logged |

Synastry 101 would be that like attracts like. What I mean is that when you have Aspects between two Planets, that is what you are working on, and that is what you will experience contact with. Sometimes it is Positive and sometimes Negative, but always an Experience. The Soul In Search of Experience. That's what we all are. IP: Logged |

thanks randall, for moving this.I agree with both of you! This person is 20 yrs older than me, married and lives in another country...so yes, while there is an extreme attraction, I have to be realistic - its just a big "NO". Not something I would pursue...free will in action!( + too many obstacles.) We both have each other's pluto conjunct each others AC , so maybe that is some of the weird "pull". but, alas no can do.... but, yes I agree - a great way to study charts. very ironic and interesting IP: Logged |

BULLS-EYE. I realise, oh, how hypocritical I'm sounding here, but I've really come to decide that if I'm not astrologically obsessing over something that's HAPPENING -- I need to ask myself why, figure out what the pay-off is -- and move on. Everything else is good for learning. IP: Logged |

Honestly, with that much of an age-gap and similar chart themes, I know you mentioned you're not into karma ... but ... maybe you ought to explore that possibility. In my experience, nothing else has explained the inexplicable. IP: Logged |

indigo D-Trust me, I do believe in Karma and I would love to explore this, but with all the obstacles, dont know if i can- at this moment, that is. who knows maybe in a year or so. im open but not going to obsess. As for soul mates, sometimes i think these ppl are the most challenging ones in our lives...not so much our romantic partners as ppl usually think. Im in my mid 30s now, in my 20's i would chase guys all over the globe. i may be relocating to this country, but nothing is concrete ( he isnt the reason for the possible relocation, this came about before him) I dont want to get too ahead of myself, like I used to. LOL on an off note, my relocation chart was a bit odd for this place as well. I guess that is my next chart reading project IP: Logged | |
