Hi! I noticed some of your question didn't get much feedback, so I'd like to a least try to give you a hint. You make very complex questions, my friend. *On the other hand, I have to say that I'm not really experienced with trans-neptunians like Ixion, Sedna, Haumea, Orcus or Eris. Despite the fact I have Varuna over my Sun and I really like it and its name, even if some people says it means materialism or sort of. And so far in LL, I'd say there isn't even a clear definition of Orcus. But even on the net, there's no much info you can find about it. =================================================================================== *Well, if I'm not wrong Orcus in the myth is the other name of Pluto 'god of the underworld',the 'Grim Reaper'. The one who brings death to those who are not worthy or don't have anything else to do here. But behind this behavior there's also a "Justice concept", like bringing justice through Merciless Death. And this is from lunarplanner.com. ============================== The Roman Orcus is said to be the god of oaths and the punisher of perjurers, apparently an extremist, being either terribly harsh or extremely gentle. I tend to take "punisher of perjurers" as referring to those who are not living or honoring their soul oaths--in essence living a lie. ============================== If what this brazilian Astrologer says is right, then I guess I'm doing it well even if I'm a first timer with orcus. In any case, this trans-neptunian must be studied more. In synastry, many times asteroids work as 'complementary influences'. It's well known that many love asteroids like amor or valentine even well aspected, couldn't take away a high-tension aspect like a Saturn square Venus/Moon orb 0º. First of all, in the majority of cases a person feels the influence of her/his NN after the 21 years. It will highly depend on the environment 'factors' seen in the natal. So, in synastry: When someone's orcus conjuncts the other person NN. I'd say that the Orcus person will take 'the call of life' of the NN person as if it were his/her own battle. And this person would do everything to help the NN person to reach that goal, even putting some karma upon him/her by removing "undesirable obstacles" from the way. Because the nature of Pluto/Orcus is the act of removing impurities. (That's why Pluto rules our large intestine and colon).
- Could it be rigth? (I'd like to receive some feedback too) I hope this helps. P.S. Since this belongs to synastry, I think you're gonna get moved my friend. [Edit] Oh thanks! ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |

Orchus has faced great pain due to terrible events like deaths of close ones. He overcomes and is like Pluto. However, his overcoming is more in the spiritual sense than the physical. I have Orchuc conj my Sun. I had a terrible death in my family and from that I built a whole new life out of the ashes. That is Orchus. In synastry, think of it as a mini Pluto with the above traits.

In this case, The Orchus person would bring the kind of experience I had to the NN person and this kind of theme would be the theme of the relationship.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I got the sense that Orcus is the Eagle decision. The Phoenix, The Thunderbird. You know, there are three roads to choose from: snake, scorpion or Eagle. Some choose to crawl, some choose to attack, and some choose to arise. IP: Logged |

I've discovered that ORCUS works very much like a 'scared oath'. If your own ORCUS is strong, this could bring it to bear. Typically, these connexions involve promise-keeping, are transformative, and could have to do with difficult rites of passage -- different from PERSEPHONE, however. ORCUS is experienced. That's why these tend to have a karmic involvement. If afflicted, or there's a personal point squaring the NODES, it can point to a betrayal due to a broken oath from a past life.

When the NODES are reverse-conjunct, SNODE conjunct NNODE and so on, it's a karmic relationship coming full circle. IP: Logged |

Thanks Indigo! But besides synastry I figured Orcus would be strong in my natal since it creates a t-square. It's conjunct my SN which squares both my Asc, BML, Pluto stellium that opposes my Part of Fortune IP: Logged |
