Hello all

Any interpretations for Priapus conjunct Priapus in synastry? I've tried doing some research on it but have only come up with a few limited aspects with other plants like moon, sun etc.

If anyone with experience with Pripaus or a better understanding than I have of what this aspect means between lovers? Please and thanks

Sorry to hijack, but I'm also interested in Priapus aspects.
Except instead of conjunct, SO and my Priapus are exact (nearly down to the seconds) opposites.

Mine: 20'40'59 Aquarius
His: 20'40'57 Leo

Anything with PRIAPUS that's hard and near 0º is serious business.

:: facepalm ::

... Hard aspect.

Sorry. But I had to clarify!

Lol thanks for the response IndigoDirae but it's a 4 degree orb, not TIGHT but interesting to me all the same. I tend to count conjunctions up to 5 degrees if it's in a prominent location.

I've heard the Priapus influence is obsessive, but would love to hear more from someone with experience with Pripapus

Ooooh. Hmmm. Well ... to be frank with you, if you're REALLY feeling it -- erm -- 'hardcore', shall we say? -- there might be something else at work?

I'll fudge the orbs of an asteroid beyond 2º30 -- with extreme prejudice -- and even a calculated point to maybe 3º if it's heavily configured as part of a pattern, or getting hit by a LOT of things -- if some of them are major personal points, like a light.

But, oooh, calculated point + calculated point beyond 2º30? I find it very difficult that it's felt -- at all -- beyond that, and for true intensity, it'd need to be 0º30 at maximum orb.

Is there, by any chance, anything else that's conjunct either PRIAPUS that's within a 0º30 orb?

Well, usually I agree with you. Keeping orb tight and all.

However, in my own synastry it is not THAT tight - and I DO feel a lot of Lilith/priapus right there-

his Priapus is 0.46 Pisces
my natural Lilith is 27.57 Aquarius
- so an orb of 2°49)

however my true BML is on 28.37 Aquarius
, a little closer, but still over 2 degrees.

anyway our true BML`s are opposing each other by an orb of 0°24, which of course means that there is true BML conjunct true Priapus (as they are always exactly opposite, as opposes to the natural priapus and Lilith).

maybe in the case of the original poster, there is a parallel at play, or true Lilith?

Hm the Venus-Venus/mars and ASC-DESC-line up looks like very serious business here, and I would pay more attention to this one than to the wide Priapus-conjunction.

I'll take up to 3° in the place of some serious configuration -- which can simply be parallels, or other related points involved; such as your BML's parallel, too.

Thanks Ceridwen, I noticed those right away, but I'm an over-thinker and like to complicate life lol.

Bumping this because I just saw that I have a 1°11s Priapus conjunct Priapus aspect in synastry. Now I'm intrigued. What does it mean?

Also curious as to the meaning of Priapus. Last time when I checked the forum, it seems every topic about it is unnecessarily vague. Everyone says, "oh it's so obvious" but uh is it so obvious? Priapus is supposed to be in contrast to Lilith afterall, who's already hypersexualized. So...

If Priapus is the male sexualized version of Lilith, would he have the male version of the "mistress" title too?
What makes Priapus so different from Mars or Pluto?
Is the planet that Priapus touches in synastry a sort of "pied piper" to seduce Priapus?

So many questions.

In my last synastry, I had my Priapus conjunct his BML at 1.5 degrees, and obviously vice versa.

He didn't believe in astrology at all, but from the get go he would tell me he was obsessed with me. Obsession was the word. He would text me constantly and ask me to send him a selfie because he needed to see my face. It was odd.

Over time, as he got comfortable with me sticking around, it changed and he became more controlling and possessive. He would constantly say he was not jealous and that was not his character, but he clearly was.

It ended poorly, but I attribute that to other aspects. I did not feel obsessive about him, as I have about others. But I felt powerful, so that was probably my Lilith talking. By the way, my moon was conjunct my own Priapus and his BML, and my Sun is conjunct my BML and therefore his Priapus. So this affected things.

I have Priapus exactly conjunct Juno.

Not sure what it means and I'm not sure if I even want to know....
