What't your biggest obstacle.I face difficulties determining who feels more. For example: If I see a man's venus is trine woman's mars I am always unsure who feels more, woman or man? Recently I met a guy and my lilith (I have moon trine lilith natally) was conjunct his sun/mars and my moon made a trine. I was wondering if I as the lilith person feel more than the sun person? And whenever I do any research I get 1000 different answers/opinions. How do you determine who has the stronger feelings? And what's your biggest obstacle? IP: Logged |

I recently asked myself this question, but in a different way, I'll explain immediately. For your question, I think the best way to approach it is to first ask yourself "who feels WHAT" the answer to these questions depends a lot on the receptivity of the planets involved, they are receptors for what? For example, someone touching my Mercury (5th 8th ruler) would not only stimulate my mind, actually the first thing they do is to make me fall in love/romantically interested. apart from these personal differences, there are also gender differences in feeling a planet, very interesting to discuss. I have asked myself this question and now I'm asking all of you, when I studied Cappy's theme, 0 aspects. I noticed something like: his Moon trine my Saturn semisq my Mars quincunx Alma and conj MC
So I wondered: who is more activated in this contact? (who feels more?): - is it the Moon because it receives multiple aspects from the other (being bombarded with the other's planets)? - or is it me because his Moon activates a larger part of me (many of my planets)? What do you think? ------------------

Difficult...difficult...difficult... In your case I would say: he MUST feel something, I mean the moon represents feelings, it's part of the inner core, so he MUST feel regardless how important the moon is for him. And I wouldn't say that you feel the same for him unless your saturn, mars and MC play significant roles in your natal. But what about the classic case "venus trine mars". I mean venus = love and mars = sex. Both parties should feel something, shouldn't they? Or does it depend on the natals? IP: Logged |

Perhaps choosing the Moon as an example was not the best idea. My question actually is: if one planet in a chart receives multiple aspects from the other, which chart is most activated in the combo? Until now, I've considered it must the planet, because it receives a flood of influences from the other, but recently I asked myself: could it be the other way around? since the planet touches a larger part of the other's chart (multiple points)?Regarding Venus trine Mars...with one exception, I see this trine as showing: those two people have attraction and compatibility with each other (mutual) showing itself as time goes by, growing in time, the more they interact, the more they evolve in sync, they are a "team". The exception being: when one of them has let's say a Venus trine Moon in their chart and the other brings Mars, the trine person will perceive the Mars person as their ideal partner for their Venus; in this case, the trine becomes an essential trigger in the first stages of the relationship, for the Venus person. If not, the trines are something we discover in time (although we may feel a sense of comfort and team spirit from the beginning, with that person). ------------------

I experienced this aspect the other way around, in an important relationship: my Sun on a guy's Lilith. I think there are gender differences with certain astrobodies, and Lilith is one of them. For you, the woman being the Lilith, a guy's Sun on it would bring light to your Lilith side - Lilith is an essentially feminine archetype. You would become your Lilith in his presence. For this guy with my Sun on his Lilith, he saw me as Lilith. ------------------

Good question, I alwasy want to know it too.For example, a woman's Moon trine a man's Venus, does it mean the woman feels the love from man, the man just feels safe to be with the woman? If a woman's Lilth conjunct a man's Pluto in 1 degree, what does it mean? Does it mean the woman wants to use her feminity to merge with the man, and the man wants to use his Pluto power to transform the woman? IP: Logged |

Funny but I have had exact the same question. I think, it depends what planet and how important the planet is. I experienced the following: I met a guy who's venus was in libra at 17 deg. As you might remember almost all of my planets are around 15 deg. So his Venus was hit hard by 80% of my chart while my Venus was almost not touched (and if it was negatively). I found him hot & interesting but didn't have any tender let out deep feelings. I don't know exactly how he felt but someone he knows said that I stired up his blood and I felt that he felt magnetically attracted to me. But i don't know his accurat birth time, so I can't say how important venus was for him. I think if my 15 deg planets hit the mercury of a guy and if mercury does not play any significant role in his chart, it'll be me who's more involved. But still not sure about all that IP: Logged |
